Love the choil, love both steel liners (as someone mentioned earlier, necessary for the 4-position clip... and the Para2 is already an amazing 3.75oz... perfect weight:size ratio... very light in hand and pocket... a lighter knife does not make a better knife, too light for its size and they start to feel flimsy and cheap... Para2 knocks it out of the park in this regard!).
As for the handle... no handle will fit everyone perfectly because there are always those with really big hands or those with really small hands... but the vast majority of people have hands that fall within the parameters that the Para2's handle is designed for and thus it fits the vast majority of people's hands perfectly (myself included...feels like it was custom made for my hand... love it!!!)... hence the reason it has received (and continues to receive) rave review for its ergos. If Sal and Company changed it to meet he needs of either side of the bell curve they'd be fools. If people are such ham-handed neanderthals that the Para2's handle is too small for them, buy a Military... that's the knife for you, and leave us normal-handed people's knife alone!

Handle:blade ratio... at .71 I understand people's grumblings. But there are factors that drive this that need to be taken into account. The Para2 is a scaled down version of the Military, as such it (like the Mili) is designed to be used with gloves if necessary. Thus the handle is a bit bigger (although w/o gloves the ergos are so dang good that I really wouldn't want the handle any smaller). As for the blade length... 3.44" I believe was purposely chosen/designed into the knife so that its blade length stays under the 3.5" limit that many state and local laws have on the books. To go over this length would affect people in these areas ability to carry the Para2 legally. All this said, the handle:blade ratio is set about perfectly for the purpose and function of the knife. A shorter handle might look a bit better, but ergos pay the price (especially with gloves on). A longer blade might look a bit nicer, but blade length restrictions would then limit the knife's effective market and user-ability. So, it would seem that the handle:blade ratio of the Para2 was actually very carefully chosen to fulfill its role perfectly.
Pocket clip is the one place I can concede to wanting a change. I would MUCH prefer Spyerco's deep carry wire clip. But... that said, again, the knife was built to be used in a professional setting if necessary (ie, military, police, etc)... at least that was its origin (I am sure the vast majority of users are not military or police) and as such the standard hourglass clip is probably a stouter clip and more secure (and as we all know Sal is a "function over form" kind of guy). That said, I modded most of my Para2's with an STR Lowrider clip... works and looks great!!!
For those who think the blade shape is ugly or the knife in general is unattractive... you are from a different planet than me!

How can you say this just is not a dead sexy knife!?!?!
