"Park Ranger". . . Pics, Specs, and Pricing!. . . Coming Sept. 20, 2017

AAAGGGHHHHHHHAH! At an age when I should be selling scads of Busses I am instead about to buy another one, that my nerve-dead leg probably won't even permit me to get out and use. I have longed for a wider-bladed knife like this in thin stock INFI for a long time.
Heck , in the last few years I have bought several "perfect" hunting knives from Busse, Ruana, Bob Dozier, and Bernard that I will probably never get to use, and now here is another "perfect" I have to get. Will this madness never cease?

Dude I already got blood dripping from my gums gritting my teeth waiting for the BG FBM now this. I'm going to have to slay the dragon again and hope I am there when the postman rings my door bell and sets of my barking dog and I get discovered. I'm gonna need a piggy back when the bank balance arrives my knees are already gonna buckle. Good work Jerry, Hope you cracking that INFI whip in the shed and churning out these knives fast. Now time to decide how I want it.

Just got the email...

I was going to be contacting Busse to see if I could get one of the smaller basics made for a user and/or CCW/EDC fixed blade, but this works just as good and seems priced right for INFI.

A few questions if someone could help me out...

What's the difference between the DC finish I have on my Boss Jack and this "BIG DC" finish? Is plain jane, bare bones, uncoated, competition finish still not offered? I usually order a spec-ops sheath offered with the bigger blades but this would be my first small Busse. Is a sheath offered or will I need to get one made? Thanks!

Is this going to be a permanent offer on the website? Or is this just going to be another one where we blink and it's gone?

One mans gristle is another mans bacon, I love the belly and the spine because it looks like a mini version of my BG FBM in the same color configuration. Might even pop for a double sheath for them :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Hope you find a way to make it work for you too hogbrother :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Kinda looks like a mini Tank buster to me. I like that Gristle saying.:)

The high saber and hump in front of the thumb ramp does seem to mirror the FBM

This model is glorious. It might even get my WTH to take a rest. Also, I just checked the website and the AK47 is no longer available...

We'll I just bought a truck and my wife is having our first child tomorrow so I think I have to sit this out. Which is unfortunate because I've never lusted after busse as much as this one. This is my kind of blade. Well done Jerry! Well done!

Good Question....in the most recent new items postings Jerry did mentioned the ones that would be staples on the shelf for future purchase and not just quick Hit & Run...No mention on this one though...Hmmmmm:confused:

I really like the look of this knife! Would be a great Christmas present to get my dad, brother, and myself matching EDC fixed blades.

In anyone's opinion, would sr 101 or INFI be better to use as deer skinner? I'm considering edge retention and sharpening.

I have a drawing drafted up for a smaller knife I wanted from the Custom Shop and this is almost it. Had a .5" longer blade drawn up, a bigger choil and slightly smaller handle, but this is pretty dang close and I won't have to wait for the custom shop to re-open. Probably going to end up with about 5 or more of these in a bunch of different configurations. Great looking little knife!

Was thinking the same thing for my brothers and grandfather with a nice Pirtle sheath. Question is: are they worth the CG or BG price? :)

Yesterday I did not know I need this one. Dang. That was then, this is NOW! They really hit this one out of the park. I actually prefer the SR101 for a blade this size. A win win. Absolutely perfect.

Im really liking the handle shape, it looks squeeze formed. Cant wait to see how it looks and feels in green canvas.

I'd love to see a top down pic of the scales to get an idea for how thick they are.

I'm really loving this design the more I look at it. The blade shape calls to me, I think because it has lines very similar to the Fusion Battle Mistress (especially the grinds on the spine of the blade). Because of that, I think the name should be the Busse Skirmish Mistress since it's kind of like a smaller Battle Mistress. Thoughts?
