Passaround: Dick Proenneke DVD

Received my viewing copy of "ALONE IN THE WILDERNESS" yesterday! Thank you! I'll settle in over the weekend with with a few Blackfoot Single Malt IPA's and finally get to see the thing in its entirety. So, thanks again for the chance to get in on this most excellent pass-around.

Oh, and can someone PM me with the address of the next recipient? I'll send it on its merry way early next week. Again, thank you for the coordination efforts.

DVD was put in the mail today. Great video but has a broken case that came to me broken. this guy is amazing!

First thing, I'd like to give you guys a warning. the last guy on the list gnw1209, I believe got banned for stealing knives from members. Look in the good bad and ugly forum, I know he was searched out and found but I don't know if he ever returned everything. Anyway, that's another story, I just wanted to say I wouldn't send him anything you want returned (BTW: he's a 13 or 14 yr old kid)


Second, if it's not too late could I get into the rotation to watch this video?

Thanks for the heads up David, I will talk to him and check it out. If that ends up being the truth and he promises to send it back, I will have to move him to the last man on the list. If not it's not, or a misunderstanding, he can stay where he is on the list. I checked it out and you were right. That kid needs a whooping

Dang, I wish I would have seen this earlier about gnw1209, I had his name and address and phone, not to mention I live about 30 minutes away. It's a shame he is a idiot thief, he seemed like a pretty good guy in his emails. The shame.
 
breakthru- I agree that this kid really screwed up. He really needs someone to take him under their wing. He's a young teenager who lives with his grandmother ( so basically has no parental guidance). I really feel kinda sorry for him. I just didn't want you to lose your dvd by sending it to him if he didn't return it.

I gave it a lot of time to show up, but the DVD appears to be lost forever. I'm very sorry for the last four guys who have waited so long only to be let down. :(

Anyhow, maybe someone will have a passaround soon and you guys can get on that list. :o
