Passion for knives has come full circle, what should I buy?

If you don't mind cayyring around a hunk of metal the Reate D9 is a great knife. Horizon C also a nice one too.

I like what you have to say. When I was 20 yrs old I saw a PUMA White Hunter in a sports store in Montreal, where I lived at the time. It was THE MOST BEAUTIFUL KNIFE that I had ever seen! My girlfriend, who later became my wife bought it for me. [Ya I divorced her anyway] But we went travelling through Europe together & I carried that knife LITERALLY 1/2 way round the world. Used it for whatever I needed it for & still have it today. It basically just has minor wear marks & is as good as the day I got it. I have quite a few knives now maybe 50. Most of the folders I kind of rotate in & out of my pocket. I work in construction so I have killed a few over the years & lost a few, given away a doz or so. The puma is probably the most valuable knife I own [US$450 or so] but currently I find that "TOPS" knives are my darlings. Not so much the folders, but you just can't beat the fixed blades especially for the price, & they come in almost any configuration that you could possibly desire. Try em you'll like em !!!!

I want to add another suggestion; Rockstead. After that you won't need to buy another knife ever... ;)

I second that.

Come on, look at this blade; still my favourite model they've offered:

TEI "S" DLC in XR7 steel although ZDP steel is my preference...
