I recently contacted Patagonia about reconditioning a jacket I had purchased from them back in 1999. I used Tech Wash and the wash on water repellent but I could not return it to it's original breathability. Having sent in the jacket, I wasn't sure what to expect. It wasn't more than two weeks when I received a letter in the mail from Patagonia with a gift card in it for the full amount I paid for the Jacket in 1999. I was able to purchase a brand new jacket to replace the old one.
You can't beat their warranty. I really use my gear and I'm happy to see Patagonia is there for it's customers!
