Patina Shmatina - GEC Stainless

Yes, Joshua, from 2014.

That's one pattern in stainless I wouldn't mind getting my hands on someday.

I didn't read the OP's original post close enough and referenced a stainless steel discussion thread. My apologies to the OP - JTB_5 JTB_5 . I've only ever had one GEC stainless knife and gifted that knife to another member of BF.

My picture of that knife. I kinda wish I'd kept it.

No worries! Thanks for posting that Mako!

I haven't seen many of the elk 47s. That's a nice one! The chestnut mustang looks sweet, too. I've never heard of uncle henry knives before.

Some definite shmatina on these backsprings. I can live with that.
Cheers.

I'm sorry, but you need to hide your shmat in this thread, sir. Is it odd for a knife to have non-stainless back springs and a stainless blade?

Some USA Schrade Uncle Henrys with their excellent 440A steel.

That's some great stag on those stainless knives!

The lone white owl, perched on the log pile. That's another one I'd love to see in person once.

Horsecut Bone

GEC needs to do some horsecut jigging again.

Thanks, Joshua, but the Uncle Henrys all used stag jigged Delrin for their covers, not real stag. They do look great, though! :)
