Pattada, I'm in lust

I like mine a lot, although I'm not thrilled with the steel. I'd love to see it in K390.

I have drooled over it in the photos. I'm sure I would really like using one; my kind of handle shape. But
I like steel that tarnishes (M4).
Not a fan of gummy stainless. What do I need with that ? I live in the desert.

i live in a swamp and dont really need stainless.

its a thin spine to edge knife?.....didnt see any dimensions to tell me, but from the knifecenter video in hand looks thin?

Right at 1" wide at the widest point, which is pretty narrow for a Spyderco.

Would there be any interest in this model in K390?

sal
Oh heck yes !
I have no K390 but from what I have read I would like it.
A combo of S110V's cuttablity, M4's toughness, super blue's patina and cru-wear's sharpenablity.
As long as the edge holds it's silly sharpness more like M4 and white paper etc., if it leans more toward S110V's "working edge" then I would be willing to give up some wear resistance and go with something more silly sharp but less durable.

M4 would be my first choice, or white paper or super blue (I have no super blue) but I understand it depends on where the knife is made. Italy ?

The stock black handle would be FINE !

I could see myself using this knife a whole lot and would fill the role of my CS Ti Lite IV with reground full flat CTS-XHP. (I could do without all the holes in the handle of that knife. Looks cool, good grip but hard to clean.)

ha, ha
last night I was thinking this knife with super steel would be the rich man's Opinel.

from the little i know about k390, it would make an excellent blade. already working on what i can hock to get one of these, can't help but think how hard it would be to afford a pattada in k390.

I like everything about it except the n690co steel and wire clip. I'd make an exception on the clip if the blade was k390.

Nice looking. This just might make me a Spyderco customer. But Sardinia is not the largest island in the Mediterranean. That's Sicily. Sardinia is second, ahead of Cyprus. S'ok, knife cool, Zieg want.

There are two recently released Spyders that I truly like>> one being the Lil Nilakka and the other being the Pattada. I've always loved the more streamlined blade designs somewhat better than I do the wider blades. The Pattada in 110V or M390 would be right up my alley.
