ps:i have a suggestion here , we may post a thread that list all the bad sites here , to guid the buy do not buy goods from them.

wow thats pretty bad. i feel bad for all the people who got ripped off ordering any of that stuff. look how they just put spyderco(and other brands) on all kinds of random knives.

People who buy from these scumbags generally know they are buying knockoffs or they are seriously brain dead.

The REAL crooks are the ones who buy these at 10% or less what the cost of an authentic piece would be then pass it off as being the real deal. This usually happens on auctions like Ebay, gunbroker etc.

Buyer beware. You might thin you are getting a deal buying from Joe Schmoe but you're probably gettinh hosed.

Buy from long standing reputabe dealers and you won't get ripped of.

If you want to go a step further inform dealers that DO sell knockoff goods that you won't patronize them, even on the authentic stuff, if they continue to support companies that steal trademark, design or intelectual property.

i can understand Why people make Fake goods , simply cost there are lack of creative idea and is unable to do something without leeching on others.

but people buying a Knife that is suppose to be $150-300usd . and jump on buying it when there see is $25 . hmm.... well maybe their better off with a fake knife .
since it make no different to them beside it look good for them .

Lesson #1 of buying products that you sincerely hope won't turn out to be a piece of crap:
Don't buy from China.

This is a golden rule of eBay in saving yourself from buying crap that isn't useful even as toilet paper.

Er.. Sorry for disagreeing with you .. Don't buy from China Part of what you said .

but if you go around your house and look i think you got to throw out alot of stuff if you think Made in China is Crap . Is not a matter of where is Made ..

Their Crap all over the world . be it made in china , USA , or any other country . there will alway been good and crappy product .

is more like a lack of consumer education understand that good stuff Do not come cheap .

If some guy staying in the USA - choose to buy something from CHINA that is Made is USA . cos the price is CHEAPER . i think he is just rubbing Crap on himself .

.

Their tons of Made in China - i am a production guys who help designer and brand produce their goods , you would be surpise what kinda outsourcing is going on in a global logistic world .

you can jolly be staying in the Himalaya using your heat pack . and tehir part that is made in china in it . directly or indirectly .

i see this as a serious lack of education on the product .

LOL a pink scarab for like 60 bucks....yeah that sites BAD NEWS.

and even more LOL AT microtechs for under $75 and A LOT OF THEM.

Bad site for sure.

Looks like the junk they hawk at gunshows, but at least at gunshows, I don't usually see them claiming the knives are the real deal. I can't decide if that web site is funny or pathetic.

I don't necessarily think Noctis was saying "don't buy knives made in China" but (for example) to watch out when buying an eBay knife from a dealer situated in, say, Hong Kong - particularly if the dealer is purporting to sell a quality knife for a mere fraction of what it normally fetches.

There was a dealer on ebay a few weeks back who was from Hong Kong that was selling Titanium Ti-lites for $39, obviously they were fake, but they looked real enough and even had Cold Steel boxes. But if you compared them to a real one, you could see the suttle diferences.
His had actually sold quite a few.$39 isn't much and it was maybe a decent knife, but it was flat out fraud and thats not cool.

Definately pays to think about it when a deal sounds to good to be true.
