Maybe post a thread in Tech Support, just say another member paid for a gold membership for you and it is order # 80936

That's such a generous giveaway, Whet. Since I was lucky enough to be chosen for the Overlander, I cannot find it in me to enter this. So This is NOT an entry.

Thanks again, Whet! She's a beauty.

The strop arrived today, and I used it right away on my Benchmade 940 (s30v). I had shaved some fatwood (resin-impregnated pine -- actually pretty hard stuff), so it didn't shave hair. Just a few passes on the strop and it was topping off hairs! Thanks!

I am offering a NIB Hogue EX-03, never used, carried, or shapened. Great knife, i just prefer the EX-01. This offer is open to any and all: to qualify simply post what your current EDC is, with a pic if possible (who doesn't like knife pics, right?). I'll use a random number generator to select the winner tomorrow around 5:00 pm CST. Won't be able to ship it till late next week though. This is the knife:

Wow whet, what an awesome offer, I'm gonna play just cause I like a good competition, and a chance to list my EDC is always fun, but with the generosity I've received recently in the off chance I happen to win I'd like to defere to either you-know-who, or a random second pick.

Anyway today's EDC-
Main EDC- my brand new RAT-2 I just got yesterday
Larger knife- Kershaw Scallion Damascus
Small (keychain) knife- Spyderco manbug ZDP

Large flashlight (in holster)- foursevens Quark QP2L-X gen 2
Small light (in pocket)- Zebralight SC52w

In rear pocket : 4 rubber gloves, band aids, 2 antibiotic ointment & 2 burn cream packs.

iPhone

Climbing rated carabiner for my key chain, on it I have a trit vial, an AR front sight tool, the key to the taurs 85 I keep in a lockbox securely fastened in my trunk (the box it combi, the pistol had a built in lock) and of course my regular keys.

Trunking scanner programmed with local (as in my exact zone/district) police and fire, the local emergency agencies and weather capability.

Good deal, glad it works well for you.

If that is one of the strops from Simple Man i know what you mean, i was lucky enough to get one too. Helped me put a crazy good edge on my Dua.

Edit: lol, i see it was! In addition to being the PIF historian he makes a great strop

Westone39 that is an awesome offering. I am totally in!
Been wanting to get one of those for a long while if i would be so lucky.

This is todays setup, just made my Mora a IWB sheath

I think an Android phone would be closer to a TARDIS (they can expand their memory and become bigger on the inside unlike an iPhone), but that case is rockin'! Wish I could find one like that for mine. Are you near a theater to watch the 50th on the big screen in 3D? My wife and I are taking our 3 oldest to watch it on the 25th if I can get tickets (we can't get BBC America here to watch it on TV).

Not in on this one since Hogue didn't see fit to put 3 simple threaded holes on the left scale for us lefties to carry it, but I've been carrying my Benchmade 940 today along with my wallet. That is all. Seriously. I went minimalist today.

Wow really generous here was my edc for today

Kershaw s30v blur clipped to right pocket
Samsung Galaxy S3 in left pocket
Leatherman surge on belt
S&W model 36 inside the waist band
Speed loader in back pocket
wallet back pocket
and that is it

Great offer Whet, I've admired Houges from afar and love these random mini giveaways.
Sorry no pictures, but this is what I had today.
Right front= benchmade 710, and a pack of trident gum
Left front= cellphone, and keys with small SAK on them
Back pocket= wallet

Forgot all about that, plus the lock release is not reversible...... Sorry lefties, this would be less than ideal for you . But it might make a good gift FROM you though :)

Im in also thanks. Here is my EDC since I bought it new...a long time ago. I wish they would restart the line on the Calypso Jr. and put removable scales on it. The only mod I have done is a tritium tube in the end of the handle so I can find it in the dark.

p.s. Inspired by Lemonslush posting a serious Co-axial in the background, I felt obligated to follow suit with my own co-axials...
