Dremel tool, sanding attachment. Works wonders. But the tweener handles are sweet. I sent you an email btw.

Hahahaha, I can't afford no stinking dremel tool! xD

I've had one sitting in my river cart for months now, always saved for later.

Get the lowest grade. Two settings, less than $40, and it will pay for itself 20x over. I've modded so many knives and machetes with mine, it's ridiculous.
 
To keep the these on track in the forum,

I took a look at the Kershaw 2pack advised for here in this thread today so on got to see it in person.

Its an interesting little kit. I'll never drop the $20 on it nor do I really want to but its fun for sure :)

Even includes a little flashlig with it

I admire that a lot. Seriously. I hope that even if you don't feel like putting anything on the table, you can at least find something you need or want.:)
 
So, this is what happened after using Simple Man's strop. This is a a Condor Hudson Bay, 1/4 inch thick. This was a tap, from sitting position with a 2-3" drop. Also, the cap was tight on the bottle. I'm used to using strops but I guess I've never gotten this result with such a thick blade.

These threads tend to slow down when they start to approach 1,000 posts. It is A LOT to read through at that point.
 
I'm gonna post something tonight. Nothing spectacular but I need a few pics first. The spirit is still alive!
 
I am offering a NIB Hogue EX-03, never used, carried, or shapened. Great knife, i just prefer the EX-01. This offer is open to any and all: to qualify simply post what your current EDC is, with a pic if possible (who doesn't like knife pics, right?). I'll use a random number generator to select the winner tomorrow around 5:00 pm CST. Won't be able to ship it till late next week though. This is the knife:
