Wasn't RemyKaze looking for a leek or parts for one a few pages back? I'd like to claim this one for him if it is what he is looking for, if you are ok with that. If it isn't what he needs then back to the thread for anyone.

Beautiful work, I remember the before pic, is that handle krinite or wood or something else?

If no one claimed that Cryo, I would like to try it. I had one coming from an earlier PIF thread but it never showed up. I wanted to try a flipper. If I dont like it, I will put it back up! Thx.

First Thing up for Grabs are these two items..

-45 feet of an almost new roll of Gold/desert bronze, black and white Para cord, Primarily the gold/bronze color from dicks sporting good. I used a bit from this 50' roll.
This has a desert look to it, but not quite camo.

- Jewelers type loop, This is a bit older from an old collector friend. Will help you old timer get a close look at that micro burr that your trying to remove.



This looks like the para just more glow and sheen to mine, not flat colored.

I would LOVE to give you the LHB but imagine scenario:

Someone else who needs it saw it when posted, went make a little lunch, comes back at 1:55 like a good boy and then finds that it's already gone.

Also, the kabars failure is not due to a stick tang which is a trait the LHB shares. It's the transition to the tang where stress takes hold on those Sharp milled square edges and causes a fracture that eventually ends up a break.

Does kabar know this? yes; do they care? since the knife takes so much Abuse before giving up the ghost, no.

The lhb has a much stronger blade/tang transition.

The knife hires NYOutdoors, I'm glad it went to a fellow kabar enthusiast.

The knife is good for his intended use as well as ATM it does not have a traditional sharp edge but just thinned, that is to say there is no scratch pattern, I just ripped metal away with a carbide sharpener after taking it to a grinder

Sure thing.. All the paracord is still there. just dont have enough time to make that many lanyards.

Yo buddies, I've been on and off these threads and promised to put something up soon. So here I am :) What I have to PIF today is a used Buck Vantage Force model. Black blade, raised thumb ramp area, plastic handles, 420HC steel, made in the USA. Like I said, she's seen some slight use, but still has a buttload of life left in her. Blade is still very sharp. Only issues are she has semi-late lock-up and she doesn't flip well. Not without a strong wrist flick. Winner may have to take her apart and clean her up, no big deal. Here are the pics to get you guys sweating ;)









No conditions on this one, fellas. First guy interested, speak up. It may take me a few days to send it out, as I'll be super busy this week with work and family events. I will hold off for now cuz I really cannot use it without a sheath.
