I'll put up this Esee Arrowhead.
WW sent it to me when I won his contest.
It's cool and I always wanted one, but I just don't think I'll actually use it.
So I'd like someone to claim it and put it to good use!



 
****** Some clarification of the rules for gentlemen and gentle ladies...

1. You can only take advantage of a gift offer once; would not be fair to those who don't spend half their lives on this sub-forum and who may not check in regularly.

2. If you are asking to "take it", you must immediately post or have posted a gift that you're offering....none of this I'll check my basement or attic after the holidays nonsense.

3. While there is a limit of one gift to claim, there is no limit on the number of times one can offer a gift.

Just thought I would stop and peek into this PIF thread. I have two knives, one a small Winchester folding knife, more of a mail opener really, and a folding utility knife. These are also posted in the PIF#9 thread. Only thing that I ask is that you live in the US. Oh and not my requirement, but per the OP, you must PIF something in this thread. Please just post here that you would like to have either one of these and then send me an email.

Here is what I am offering to anyone living in the United States:

Small Winchester liner lock knife. Not a trophy knife my any means, but good at opening mail.

To clarify, I haven't really made a claim yet, I picked a scale set someone won't be using out of thier claim and they were kind enough to send it my way.

That was a personal request.

Anyway, I asked if could try the arrowhead, no guarantees off acceptance And if accepted I already have my PIF item picked out. If not then I HAVE to bring it back to general where there is karma still waiting to be dished out.

No disrespect to my Becker family, I just feel like I need to give some more over there since some people did some really nice things for me. And I have given back, I just wanna give more

I have no feelings about it...the rules were made simple, and if one wishes to go his own way about it and around it, then so be it. I just don't want someone who is always signed on to lay claim to every offering, to want to just "check it out", or is indecisive as to whether they really want it or need it, or otherwise be the first to jump on every gift offering at the expense of those who may sign on perhaps once a day, for an hour or less, and find they were late at the game because one or two or more were always first because they were always signed on and monitoring the freebees in this thread; whatever makes you feel comfortable.

...and let me add, if you wish to give more to other kharma threads in other sub-forums, then by all means do so; just offer something here this fiscal year if you're going to say I'll take it, or can I check it out, or maybe I just want to feel it before I decide that I want it, or maybe I'll give some kharma here if the folks here will do for me what they have done for me on other threads/forums; is it really that complicated?

Alnamvet68, Sir best of luck with your thread :thumbup: I do not plan on claiming anything here so I will not hang around, as I don't even own a Becker. My offering will stay posted if that is okay with you. If they are claimed in the PIF#9, then I will update my post here. I give and expect nothing in return. I just hope that whatever it is that I give, finds a good home and is put to good use.

OK, time to sweep up this thread and put it back on the right track. Apologies all around.

1st, my claim on the arrowhead still stands.

2nd, I would like to ask that Mountanmist send his set of large Becker scales to GranitestateofMind, he will be suffering from the Bk12 thickness before I do.

Next, is my offering. A Victorinox Mechanic "starter keychain", yes I said keychain because I'm including a matching carabineer and would like you to Carry it on your keys.

All I ask is that whoever accepts this, be willing yo make it your keychain or give it to a youth who will :) it's also acceptable if it goes to a younger child/teen that would just like to clip it to thier belt loop.

I Also ask that you don't be a victorinox hoarder, please be guy (or gal) that would like to try using a SAK and Make it a constant part of your EDC via keychain, just like mine.

On a side note, the is the perfect tool for anyone that likes to fool with electronics or just does a lot of wiring in genersl because not only does she have the handy dandy wire stripper notch but this model actually included a tool to cut it with in the 1st place, the pliers (only good for thin gauge wire), as well as a shafted Philips screwdriver.

I'm tossing something in, maybe I'll claim something later, but not worried about it.

I have in my posessoin a brand new Sog Magnadot still in the plastic package. I don't have any current pix, but can put one up later if you need to see it in the package. I will be taking it out of the package in order to save on postage. I should expect to ship on Friday or Saturday, but w/the Holiday tomorrow, I don't know what kind of insanity will possess the PO this weekend.

Regardless, lay claim to it in this thread, then PM me your address. Shipping in the USA only. Also, you must be able to legally receive this item. I'm not a lawyer so I'll not spend any time trying to sound like one.

Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, or just enjoy the cooling temps and fall colors (unless everything has fallen)
