I guess I probably should've bought it when I had the chance.
If I had then I'd have something to contribute because AFAIK it was a flipper which really isn't my style ( but I also don't like anything with a bottle opener so the whole deal would probably be given away )

So I got to talking to Derrik (dkb45), he has a Grip that's messed up. The axis lock and action have something wrong with them, plus the blade is serrated. He would need to send it Benchmade to be fixed. He also has a sweet ass set of DOAT CF scales sitting in his safe just begging to be installed. Since his Grip isn't exactly what he wants and it needs repair I'll be sending him the new 550hg I picked up here last week and he's sending me his Grip, I need a beater to ride in my backpack. We talked privately about logistics but I wanted everyone to know what was going on to keep it above board. There's already been too much tomfoolery pulled around here, Dsun.
 
Is this exclusively for knives? Or is gear okay? I have a like new Streamlight Microstream and an Emerson lanyard bead I could throw in.

I'll be putting it to use this long weekend assuming the mail comes through. When I get to that side of the country again I may have to do that. :thumbup: There's not much better than fine wine, pretty countryside and quality cutlery.

I would imagine not. One of the last versions they had gear going back and forth.

I just have to make a correction, the scales are sitting next to my knife box on my bedroom floor. Appreciate taking the initiative and letting everybody know. I also greatly appreciate the swap! It is correct that they are some sweet ass scales though, and I will definitely let people see the new dolled up knife once I get it. Who doesn't like a little knife porn?
 
Dbk45 - remember to clear your browsing history so your family doesn't see those weird little knives you're so into... Kershaw Shuffles and all that jazz ;)

If the Microstream is still available I could use a new one. I'll post a few items soon, we're still recovering from the flood.
 
Virginia brand linerlock folder with 440 steel. This is a well made knife with a blade about 2 1/2" long. Opens and closes smoothly and has no blade play at all. Knife is used and ships free to the US. I'd like the person claiming this one to put something up at the same time as the claim is made. ;) :)
