OK, seeing how awesome this thread is, I really want to help out. Other than my grip, which will probably have to be pried from my dead hands, I have nothing really of great worth, but I have these two interesting ones... The one on the left is a "survival" knife. There's a compass in the pommel, a small sewing/fishing kit and a few matches in the handle, along with a sharpening stone in the sheath. The nut that holds the handle on loosens over time, so I loctite'ed (blue) it. I just don't use it, and it's being replaced by a custom "Bowie"/iron mistress I'm having made. The other one is a knife my wife got me and the opening is just a little too stiff for my liking...

I know there not the best, but I feel like I have to offer something.

The left is maxam brand, the other I don't know

Edit: it rotated. So when I say left, it's the bottom one

I'm pretty sure that top one is a Gerber, what does it say on the blade.
FYI I have a smaller mtech version of that survival knife that I use as a steak knife, they're not really good for anything else so if nobody claims it you should give it a try as sort of a novelty steak knife.

It has a lion's head then says knives"

And I wouldn't use ever survival for anything food related... I've used it too much... Killed mice... Etc so a disclaimer to anyone who takes it


I understand no one would probably want my crappy knives, but I figured I'd offer.

Something that may have more appeal. An nra "Swiss army" knife.

Got it from an elderly lady, whom I helped do some plumbing for... Apparently she's an nra life member... Go figure.

I'm not a fan of Swiss armies, but I figure there has to be someone here who will enjoy it

I have an older camillus electricians knife, which I have "restored" given that it had been used until dull and discarded by its previous owner.

I have a Schatt and Morgan swell center moose in ebony. One of 100. It is a wonderful knife with a hard pull on both blades, but the edge was wonky from the factory. I've been trying to correct it by hand but it may not be perfect when I send it out. I Love this knife, bit because of its edge issue I find myself neglecting it.

Please note it will be 4 or 5 days before I can get it out. I will post pictures friday night. Thank you, may have more to come!

Adam, would it be ok to claim that blur for a friend at work? I gave him one of the Kershaw gift sets at Christmas to replace the crappy gas station folder I was sharpening and tightening up for him every week! LoL I'd like to step him up to a U.S made Kershaw and I think the blur would suit him.

I have one of those, it just randomly came in the mail for free one day.
I guess it was a sigh up promo, it's not all that sharp but the saw seemed to work pretty good so I use it as a mini pruning saw in the garden.

I'm sure someone will want that little folder, it looks like the perfect knife to put in a glove compartment tool pouch or something, and it would probably make a good box cutter.

I don't know if this is against the rules since I have previously claimed a knife and donated a knife. But I don't own a leek and would love to have one. If this is OK I would definitely go dig out another to put up. No hard feelings either way.

The SOG appears to have been tentatively claimed, but the Kershaw may still be available. Not my knives, so I can't say for sure, but if the Kershaw has been claimed I can send you something. Just let me know.
