For me that's one of the reasons I still carry it since my leatherman fuse has scissors on it.
( but I don't carry an mt for its blade, so I'll take as many other functions as I can get )

That kind of tone even in here has caused me to lose interest in this thread. I'm just watching to see if the Volli made it to it's new home.

I've never once used the tweezers on a Micra. The scissors are great, but I'm too lazy to use the tweezers. I assume they're for pulling splinters mostly, which I just carve out with a knife point. Hurts more maybe, but much faster and less frustrating.

Indeed it has. Received yesterday afternoon. I was going to respond with a photo attached but didn't want to scare the people I work with. I don't think they would understand! It's a very nice knife. It fits my smaller meaty hand well. Thank you very much Lone_Wolfe!

On a side note I'm sorry that people are getting harassed about things they were willing to give. It might not be a bad idea to have a GBU thread to list those users who would do that. I would disqualify them for not honoring the spirit of the thread. It ruins the integrity of the thread!

How about another couple from the Colorado lot?

Kershaw Shuffle which looks LNIB and a Snap On frame lock. The Snap On shows use obviously, but locks up nice and solid. Both have a mirror edge and are screaming sharp.

Claim one, claim both or pair one with the micra listed yesterday. Just promise you'll make use of them and cover the shipping charge and their yours.
 
It's not about the value it's the gesture and the cutting power you need. I frame and play around with my tools so I'm rough on them. But my tools get use and I'm always learning new techniques etc.
 
I think this thread is going along great. Of course they'll be a couple bad apples but for the most part we have a bunch of members that are getting to try something new while at the same time being able to give back to the knife community. Can't get better than that imo.
 
I remember seeing an episode of Oprah years ago where as a bit of a social experiment she gave away free left shoes. Just the left one, with no promise of the right to follow.

I was amazed that most people took one. What the hell are you going to do with a left shoe?!? Taking just to take.
 
The shuffle? They're great little knives. My wife has a purple one.

Not sure if you saw this GasMan. It's all good if you don't think it's right to give the knife to someone not a part of BF, just wanted to make sure so you didn't think your knife was unwanted!

Was kind of hoping it would go to someone who contributes here. That's why I said the part about not the Uncles bosses wife etc. And if it's not claimed I won't be offended. :)
 
T.L.E, I could really use the micra, I recently lost the one I had and can't find another local.
 
City74, I just realized that my wife had set aside a package for me and happily its my electrician!
It had certainly been used but that adds to the character.
I'll try to get some pics up once I can get all the blades open;)
