Last up for today from the Colorado lot. A well used Leatherman Micra. It's been all cleaned up and lubed. Blade has a ridiculous edge now and it's ready for a new home.

Like the others the claimant must pay shipping costs, either by PayPal funds or purchasing postage and emailing me the label to print.

Thanks again Colorado for providing the knives and tools.

I never use the blade on my first year leatherman micra ( or any mt as I prefer a dedicated knife )
But I'd probably be tempted to use it if it's edge looked like that, nice work man 👍

Yeah, not a terribly practical exercise. I mostly did it to entertain myself. I've always thought it'd be better off with the wave like serrations found on some SAKS.

I'm surprised no one has claimed it yet. I love micras. I use the small flathead (for philips) and the scissors a lot.

I just wish it's blade was a sheep's foot, that way it would be a more effective and safer blade for plastic packaging.

It would be nice if the tweezers could be swapped for the package opener found on the wingman. That thing works great.

I picked up this Kershaw Blackout used. Sent it in for a blade replacement and looks like the pocket clip was replaced too. It's not perfect but it looks pretty good to me. I hope if you claim it You will use it. Not you uncles bosses mom or the like. This is a Great Thread so let's keep it going.. Pay it Forward.

Bump. :D

Hey GasMan,
I would absolutely love to claim that kershaw to be my new EDC. Just a warning though, I am a new user but one that is not trying to take advantage of this thread, and will dig around later to try and see what I can find to offer. I don't have many high end knives, so if I can find one it will most likely be in the $20 range.

I sent all my packages yesterday, goodies should arrive in a few days.

Hey MrJim, I see you just joined the forums. I dont have any high end knives either. BUT I do believe in paying it forward and if you agree to do the same here "on this thread" then the knife is yours. Fair enough? IM working now so I'll ck back later.

Oh man. The black out is a classic. Rite next to the whirl wind and avalanche . my post got deleted yestedsay. But what I was saying is its not the value that counts but the gesture. Even making some lanyards by watching you tube would make up for getting your first knife here. That's why I did a few years ago . I was gifted an old chive by a seasoned member during some hard times . That is when I learned now to make the cobra and DNA lanyards for the first time. Been making them ever since.

Remember once you get to where your going . Help the next person in line. Doing that has surrounded me by amazing people who take care of each other . After all this is all about giving. Not trading.

Reminds me of this. I love this song. And I'm a metal and blues fan.

On second thought, I don't think I need the knife. I realized I'm perfectly comfortable as using my Buck Bantam as my EDC. It's reliable and fits my standards. I am not saying this because I do not wish to Pay it Forward - I will probably be offering a knife either way. I just want the knife to go to a user who needs it and is willing to give more than I can.

I have a decent pair of binoculars I got from a Swiss army sale a while back. I won't be home the rest of the week, but when I do get home I'll try to find them and put them up.

Great offer man! I'm all set for knives after I got my Spyderco which I'll be carrying for a while, but if nobody claims it I'd love to give it to one of my sisters going to college (I've done the same with every one of my siblings). I know how you want it to go to someone who directly speaks to you, but I guarentee she will use it every day in college as a sort-of EDC. If there's another reliable member who wants to directly use it then give it to them, but I can absolutely give it a home if needed!!

EDC package shipped out to Lobo13 today. On the way buddy. Hope you're able to use everything. It really goes well together as a great smaller, summer time carry setup. Hope you enjoy.

I will be posting up another package soon so stay tuned for that. I love the way this thread is going so let's keep it going.
