I just heard about how a group of members on BF just got together to pitch in money for the Delica!!! I simply cannot say how stunned I am at this generosity, and cannot wait to get back to my house tomorrow! Getting this out of the blue was just the greatest thing to hear and completely made my day. The Delica will be my EDC for many, many years ahead. Good people are hard to come by these days, but I want this group who pitched in money for my sake to know that they just did something HUGE for a complete stranger today. There is so much I want to say, but for the sake of not filling this thread, I just want to end with a thank you. For those of you who don't understand, a group of members got together to pitch in money to buy a Spyderco Delica for me while secretly replacing it with the Meadowlark I had been given after I had made a thread talking about Spyderco. Simply great people. Thank you so much.
 
Hey Elgin, Could I try out the CRKT M16 orange. Never have owned one but heard its a solid knife. And just want to give you kudos for being so generous with your offerings.:thumbup::thumbup:

About 7 years ago, i bought a Japanese SS serrated Delica for 5 bucks at a yard sale. It was scratched up and rusted, after a bit of work, it quickly became one of my favorite knives.
 
And I have a Mr2Blue Strop Id like to offer up. I got this a couple years ago from a fellow forum member here that used to make strops. I can't remember what wood it was made out of but I believe it was Walnut. The leather probably needs some reconditioning and some new compound applied.

Elgin, I changed my mind I'm all set. A few member got together on BF to get me a Delica! No need to take a knife I won't use

Idk if you saw my post above talking about it, but unfortunately I haven't been home for these past couple weeks as I'm with family. I am so excited to see it tomorrow!!!!!!!

The Beckers are claimed, thanks guys


Second are 2 Beckers. The only thing I ask is that if at all possible I'd like these to be taken by someone who's never owned a Becker before, or someone who plans on using them. They currently have quite the low resale value due to shipping costs and clearance prices it wouldn't be very smart to pick them up and try and resell. That's all.

I have 2 NIB Beckers, a BK4 and a BK5

The Opinel #8 with drop point still available?

I've read a lot of reviews on how awesome Opinel's are, but have never tried one myself.

I'll give it a good try and see if they're worth the hype.
