Well I've had that sog flash 2 in a drawer for over a month now, and finally this weekend I'll be bringing it to my cousin.
So thanks again to gonebad, and of coarse stay tuned for another update with pictures of my cousin with his new knife ( not making any promises as he's only 14 , but I'll try and get him to join as he's definitely into knives )

Since the Misses glances over my shoulder, I can't yet show a photo of the piece I received. Once it gets to its intended destination, I will update with a photo.

Thanks is also due to Colorado(member) who put up the knife. I'm only responsible for the reprofile and sharpening.
OK guys, Just wanted to give an update on my grabs, and make an offer.
The leek I got near the beginning of this thread has been a work horse. It has since unpacked 5 semi truck loads of boxes and furniture. Most of witch were taped and banded, and this thing slices through like butter.
Next is the sog powerassist I got from gafishing. Honestly, I'm not much of an MT guy but this thing has been on my belt ever since.
Now for my offer. A few weeks ago a grabbed a boker automatic. It's smaller than the Kalashnikov, I don't know the model. The blade is a little beat, but I have cleaned and lubed it. Is plain edge, with serrations. I planned on reprofiling it to remove the serrations, but don't have the time. It comes with a belt sheath.
Please know the laws in your state. I'll post a picture later

I would like the Boker please..And offer the CHIVE back up for anyone thats wants it. It is a very nice little knife. But is just to small for me
