Glad to see it made it through the trip down there without being kidnapped by customs! Hell of a backdrop for that knife. Hope it doesn't bite the crap out of your hand like it did to me!

Hi All,

I have a few Buck and Gerber knives up for grabs that I got as part of TSA seizure auction lots. Each lot had one or two knives that I wanted and several that I didn't. These are the extras. They're not fancy or pretty, but might be useful as a backups or beaters. Better photos will be available after I've finished cleaning and oiling and running them across the Sharpmaker.

Buck 455 with the little symbol that I think means 2001. Looking for replacement thumb studs. Will update when I find.

Buck 303 to bralexander
Buck 303 from 2013. Blades have good snap.

Withdrawn. Knife isn't safe. Light spine tap caused lock to fail. Sorry folks.
Buck 345 from 2011. You can't see it in the photo, but to the right of the oval thumb hole, it says "USA, 345" and then the year symbol.
Blade has a little up and down wiggle same as my Buck Spitfire, but the liner lock is well to the center of the blade and it locks solid. It doesn't flip smoothly at all, though, and needs a good wrist flick. Then again, I'm not good at flippers and I even have to add a wrist flick to open my Spyderco Domino, so take anything I say about flippers with a big grain of salt. :o

Two little Gerbers but I don't know the model names or years. Black flipper doesn't flip smoothly but see comment above.

Gerber Gator claimed via PM by contributor and participant in this thread.
I think this one is a Gerber Gator but there's nothing on the other side of the blade to indicate model number or name.

Oof, I love that buck 303 but I've already claimed one here and have yet to put my copper SAK up, dang.
Do i need to be a member to offer up a knife?

I don't think there's any stipulation that you have to be a paid member to offer a knife. Anyone can offer anything anytime. :) If you're going to offer an SAK up, I'm cool with sending you the Buck 303.

Sorry, Bruce. Could I interest you in a semi-decent Gerber for the same all time low price of nothing? :D

If you put that sak up. I'd like it. Had one as a kid and lost it and have been meaning to get one again.

No, that's alright! Maybe I can get in on Irona's copper SAK if it is as cool as it sounds.
Thanks,
Bruce

I don't blame ya. :p I have a soft spot for the Gerber Evo Jr, though, which is the one I wanted from the Gerber lot.

Irona, feel free to PM or email me your address and I'll get that out to you on Monday. :)

Thanks, but I'd prefer to get the SAK up before I receive the 303, just so I make sure I get it done. I'll try to do that later today though!

So I was feeling really blessed lately and wanted to pay it forward. Since I couldn't sell this great user, I'm gonna give it away for free. Here's my pimped Boker Manaro Bullseye Grip, this is after they started case hardening the body hardware, it has a steel lockbar insert, and was pimped by me. Ground the jimping down to make it more comfortable, blade is used, sharpened on edge pro, smooth action with solid lockup, slight bit of horizontal play, flamed ti. I was debating about darkwashing or two tone acid etching the blade. If you want me to change the blade finish, edge angle, etc let me know!

PM me if interested!

I would like to give this one a try if timnelson doesn't. Kudos either way.

Hi irona,

It's been almost a week so I hope you don't mind if I move on and offer the Buck 303 to bralexander or anyone else who might be interested.

bralexander?

Buck 303 on the way to bralexander, or will be soon. Will drop package off at post office this evening on my way home from work. Thanks!
