Sorry I was away so long, had to stay in hospital a little while :(
Can anyone who is keeping track of this regularly tell me if someone claimed the Opinels I offered a few weeks ago?

It is like new. And awesome with the scissors that are attached. Only issue is the blade came rubbing against the liner. I attempted to just ever so slightly bend it over with light pressure to fix that and the blade snapped off!
I contacted them and its an easy fix and they were understanding kind of. LOL.
This has a pocket clip on it, therefore no sheath.

Thanks! Everything is fine now ... had an especially nasty Virus ... high fever, near-dehydration, not fun at all ... positive is: I lost about 5 kg ;)

Nalon - glad youre doing better. Looking back it looks like noone claimed you're opinels. They must have gotten lost in the mix.

Im gonna have to find her a multitool, too. What I really need for her is some sort of bag/pouch to put it all in---it doesnt need to be fancy and I am certainly not picky about the color or style (messenger bag, haversack, bottle pouch, etc). Leatherman Kick was shipped out today. =]
Looking into what knife I can get when I get paid this next Thursday.
I may pick up a few more little odds and ends for Christmas as well. Not sure yet though.
 
I emailed him about a month ago and he was still having health issues then. I have not heard from him since.

No problem at all. I would much rather see the original claimant get one than me. Appreciate the consideration.....take all the time u need :)
 
If anyone wants it I got a S&W power glide. ( I know, dont yell at me) I bought it because of how unique the opening mechaniam is. I dont care for tantos and the steel is well as I said its a Smith and Wesson so probably 440a. It ended up that it never really got carried. Open to any and all, just post here and shoot me an email.

Man if the steel was better is would love to get that. I'm afraid I may not carry it much if at all. That is such a nifty (but definitely not very stable seeming) design. I love goofy designs like that.

Actually, on second thought I would love to get it. Worst case scenario I PiF it to one of my friends who could use a nifty little knife.
