If anyone wants it I got a S&W power glide. ( I know, dont yell at me) I bought it because of how unique the opening mechaniam is. I dont care for tantos and the steel is well as I said its a Smith and Wesson so probably 440a. It ended up that it never really got carried. Open to any and all, just post here and shoot me an email.

Didn't the Germans make a knife like that back during WW2, or was that one of those stupid things where the maker put Nazi crap on a knife for marketing purposes?

If I am not mistaken they were paratrooper knives. I have seen a few variations on the design, but it was a really cool albeit overly complex mechanism.

Dkb45 its yours, give me an email. Hope you find someone who like, or maybe you'll find the mall ninja within yourself. :D

I just PIF'ed a Delica in private this week.

But am running out of knives to giveaway at this point. Lol. Good job for those who have been in it since PIF#1 and still giving though! There's a bunch of you folks out there.

Really if a knife isn't getting used and you can afford to not have it or afford to not have to sell it, there are definitely some people out there who either because they are younger or not currently working and many other reasons who could use a little knife love in their life so I hope that this thread keeps on going!

Email sent, my good sir!

I will probably be running another PiF here soon. I need to give something else away, I just need to figure out what.

PIF Re-post

Both still available

I have two knives, one a small Winchester folding knife, more of a mail opener really, and a folding utility knife. These are also posted in the PIF#9 thread. Only thing that I ask is that you live in the US. Please just post here that you would like to have either one of these and then send me an email.

Here is what I am offering to anyone living in the United States:

Small Winchester liner lock knife. Not a trophy knife by any means, but good at opening mail.

Also offering this Husky Utility knife. Could use a good cleaning and a new blade.

Well, I got a bit of overdue money arrived my way, and my much loved and appreciated PIF RAT-1 got some company... :) (sorry for the crappy pic) RAT stay as my primary EDC and will be hard to be replaced as such.

Top is replacement for my old Navaja (synthetic bullhorn instead of wood handle) and on the bottom is my new INOX Opinel #9 (bought myself one earlier, but PIFfed it to a friend for his brother). The thing I'd like an opinion from fellow posters in here is a bit complex- I was hoping tobuy either BM 710 or a bunch of knives (subject to my earlier posts here), but a good guy at my local knife store has brought to my attention that I should buy a Spyderco while I can... ATM I can get a discount and buy an Endura for 90-95$, and as of Jan 1st they'll cost around 130$... Should I go for it? On one hand, it's the only Spyderco, apart from Valloton*, I really fancy, but am not desperate to buy one, except later on I'll be very discouraged by the price (for comparison, 710 would cost me about 190$). Whaddya think? TIA

You can get a used endura all day long for not too much. A 710 will be a little bit harder to get an excellent deal on the secondary vs the endura.

Well, my first thought was that sounds high, but you are in Croatia....

Regardless of price/cost, I pick the Endura.

I'd pay for an endura for that price in super blue.
Anything else, the benchmade.

Honestly I think you should buy online. An Endura does not have to cost anywhere near that, not even anywhere near $90. I also am skeptical of the price hike, not to discount your dealer, but did he say why?

A benchmade 710 could be had for much less than that until they recently stopped dealers from using discount codes.

I would really like more info on that Spyderco price increase.

Edit: Sorry, I didn't see you are in Croatia. I know nothing of international pricing.
