Yes sir. I worked there for 4 1/2 years. Mostly in the hafting dept. but I cross trained in all depts. I loved my job but let's just say Mr. Griffey and I never really got along.

thats cool man, well you looked at my posts so I assume you saw the Bear I received a couple weeks ago (I bought it, lol) . I posted a pic, irony is I was going to post a review of here a week ago but this thread distracted me and I said I would use it another week or so first. I like it, been carrying it every day since I received it. I spent a few weeks reading reviews about Bear knives before I ordered it and know they get their share of grief on this forum so i wanted to give my perspective of it for someone else in case they are looking at one.h I do have a " is it supposed to be like that" question when I can get a pic of it are you able to answer something like that as a former employee?
 
Okay let me try to make up for not being here from the beginning... these are old knives and not in that great shape. They have been used, and used, and used again. But if they will serve anyone, they will be yours for the asking. All I ask is that you live in the United States. You can have one, two or all three. Just post it here then shoot me an email. And if no takers... I understand, they're not the prettiest knives :D

The Colonial one is over 30 years old. It was my first knife.

What is the "Struper" knife? It looks familiar, but I can't place it. Maybe a Kershaw?
 
I'm gunna go ahead and throw this out here again as I just got caught in the rain trying to weatherproof it with banana leaves lol.

I'm in severe need of a tent guys.

The one I've had for years is completely dry rotted and the last time I set it up, it ripped apart. I can't take it down now without totally demolishing it, when I touch it, it falls apart. So I've been using it as a day shelter to watch my animals from when I bring them outside during the day (few hours a day when I have time) but it's totally shot now.

If anyone has an old tent that they don't use anymore, it would be greatly appreciated.

There are so lot of outdoorsmen among us. Someone must be bound to have an old cheap one rotting in a closet somewhere that they've upgraded from.

A tent is a need for me, is something I use a lot as just temporary shelter most times. During hurricanes here when we can go a couple weeks without power, its better sleeping in a tent than baking alive in uncooled trailer.
