I think you promised me a boat, a case for my new bow, and a motorcycle. I wont be greedy and take the money for either one. But i dont have paypal so you can just western union me the money :D

For whetstones competition( good thing its not best recipe or the bacon explosion would have already won it:D)

Simple overnight rub/marinade for smoking carp
1/3 sugar
1/3 pepper
1/3 salt
Mix it all up and rub it all over your meat then put it in a plastic bag and let sit overnight in the fridge.
 
For grilling:

1 gal water
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sea salt
1 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp tarragon
1/2 tsp ground black pepper

bring to boil and cool to refrigeration temp

submerge three or four cornish game hens and weigh down add a bag of ice

let it brine for at least 4 hours

rinse off , spray lightly with oil

grill on medium temp

Thanks guys ! After the number of years I spent as a Chef & now having 4 kids....cooking is not only a passion but a fatherly duty. Haha

awesome, thanks so much. already looking into leather for scale making and how to repin a knife.

how much of the blades are still there? does it still have snap? i'm excited to get it either way, just getting an idea of what kinda work its gonna need. thanks again.

I think lobo should get it and we can all have a presentation ceremony where he cooks the absolute #&$% out of that bacon explosion to prove it doesnt collapse the space-time continum to make something so awesome! ..... or whatever....

I received and carried the serrated Endura from Tjc591 today! It's awesome! I think it may convince me on spyderedge knives, and I actually do like the pinned liner less frn clipped handle a lot! Again, thank you so much.
