I do have a need for one, as my current EDC went belly-up after the wife washed it. I was due to receive one from TotalDBag in the first thread, but it never arrived. Now I know I don't meet your criteria of not claiming anything, but I am definitely "ahead" if that's how you want to think of it, and I do have a clear need. If someone else would like it that hasn't claimed anything, then great. I just ask you to keep me in mind is all.

Raindog, I'd like to make up for you not receiving the other one. Send me your mailing address and I can get this out this morning. thanks!

Ok. Time to liven up the thread a little. Here is a Sheffield lockback. I never used it, but it would be good for fishing/hunting/etc.

My only request is that you give at least as much as you recieve. I will give priority to those that give when asking for this.

I wanted to put this on the current page, as most people don't look back very far. It's still available. Email me at editor@boardmancamera.com to claim it.

And the spirit lives on! I was just at Waffle House having breakfast. There were four guys at the other end in uniform(Army). I caught their waitress and asked for the check and she told me someone else had already paid for them. A few minutes later one of them got up and shook hands with an older gentleman and thanked him and his wife. When the four of them left, the tip was roughly equal to their bill.

Its great to hear stuff like that and thank you for your willingness to pay for them.

That is great to hear!!

You know I was also supposed to receive a flashlight from totalDbag from the first thread and it never arrived, coincidence?

What light were you told he would send you? It wasn't the 1xAAA Thrunite Ti was it?

Whoever this went to, the SENS is a really cool light, it uses a G-sensor to automatically adjust the level based on how far away from you its pointed. It was the first light I ever did a review on!

Nope, it was a Thrunite T20. I did PM him about it a while back (even though I felt kinda weird about it, and was going to let it slide but I got curious if it was another PO screwup), he said he totally forgot about it. No sign of it since.

I know lights pretty well, but I have no idea what you're talking about! I'll have to look up that feature. I don't need much fancy stuff on my lights. They just need to turn on and off. I don't really even need adjustable brightness.

Dang, but im glad it went to someone who will appreciate it, i basically beat the crap out of it for the little time i used it, it deserves a bit of TLC

Here's what the anodizing looks like on the Stubby Razel.

Let Me know when you dig up that tent :D

NOT an offer :)

Stvpourciau, mon ami this is the tent. I set it up and it is in good shape. There is some river sand in it, but that can be easily swept out. Here are a couple of pics, i took more detailed pics of how to set it up that i can send to you but didn't want to clutter up the thread. Let me know if you would still like it:

Offering up one Tops Overlander. Never used or carried, but somehow ended up with some slight rust on the belt clip.

To claim it: as one of my passions is grilling, post something about grilling! You favorite rub recipe, pics of your grill or something you cooked on it, your favorite fish marinade, some random grilling tip you got off the internet, anything. I'll then randomly select the "winner" around 8:00 tonight CST. (Not trying to clutter up the thread, just thought this might be fun). This is the knife:

Beer burgers.
I take about 3 lbs of ground beef, and toss in half a good porter, stout, ipa, anything strong with flavor. Mix it up with anything else you want to add (I use garlic, and a lot of it), and form patties. Throw them on the grill on medium to medium high heat.
Course, with everything I cook, I just wing it.
Would love to claim this one. Trying to go on the Appalachian Trail for a month with a friend here soon, and that looks like a great knife to take along.

Now you're speaking my language! I freaking LOVE to grill. Here is a pic of the 0560 helping me with some burgers, brats, and kielbasa.

A rack of ribs that I smoked for 7 hours. They were brushed with Sweet Baby Ray's about 20 minutes before they came off the grill.

Finally, these are sirloins cut fresh. They are 1 1/2" thick and marinaded for 18 hours in a mixture of Dale's, Italian dressing and melted butter. Prior to marinade they were seasoned with onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, fresh ground black pepper and a dash of salt.

I'll take the tops. Give me a min to post some grilling stuff.

I thought I had pictures I guess I don't. But my favorite thing to grill is bacon cheese cracker burgers. You take the ground beef and mix in cavenders egg saltine crackers and mix it all up. Then take a round cup or top the size of a burger and shove it in with a small cavity inside. Then you add your bacon and cheese and cover the top with your ground beef then throw it on the grill. I like barbecue better but the family likes this the best so that's what I like to cook.

Speaking of my 0560, I have another item to offer up. This was gifted to me in an earlier PIF thread. I carried it for a couple weeks and the color just isn't me. LoL This is a Kryptoglow scale that i believe the original owner said was a blem because the liner peeks out just a bit (1 mm-ish) on the back. Free to a good home, no give/take ratio required. Post here followed by email/PM with info.

I will also add this to the mix. There will be a catch on this one however. I want this one to go to someone who is willing to fix it up. The scales on this appear to me to be leather and no longer fit. The tang stamp puts this between 1940-1964. I would love to see someone clean this thing up and put it back into service. If you feel like this is a project for you then it's yours.

A tip I learned from the in law is to take ground venison and slowly massage in A1 sauce to your liking and let it sit overnight. The next day you massage it one more time and slap em on the grill. The result is some of the juciest most delicious burgers I've ever had while being a healthier burger option. Been using this recipe for years now and it's my favorite.
