this thread is the highest volume of posts per time of any ive been involved in. by far. I'm disappointed in the number of guesses I got. oh well.

How in the world do you people get any sleep!? Sheesh! Anyways, I'm going to work now but I'll be periodically checking in for a multitool...but if anyone gets to one first, no biggie: i still got my generously donated SAKS! RemyKaze: that stripling looks fascinating! I wonder if you could stick glitter on it when it's heating up.That would be awesome for my little sisters!

Well, I have a small favour to ask... Today, belatedly and I appologize for that, went to mail Stvpourceau his package and was told in no uncertain terms that US does not allow sharp, pointy items mailed into the country. I would be much obliged if somebody when sending parcels of their own would ask at the post office how would one send such items to US.

Stvporceau, sorry but I had to leave the little knife at home, but will definitely send it when I find out how to do it (and it is a important question- if I buy american knife, I'd like to know if I'd be able to ship it in for warranty or repairs). The rest of the stuff should arrive in about 10 days.
 
Wrap it in a thick layer of bubble wrap/foam wrap. Use packaging tape/duct tape to entirely cover the previous layer. Put in envelope/box for shipping.
In essence, make the package unidentifiable as a knife. That's how I've received most of my international packages.

I'm not asking for any, but since I live in the rural NW too, where do you go looking for this stuff?

Hey wolf, thanks for sending me some stuff!! I was still unaware of what we were doing cos we never talked about it! :D lol I hope it didn't cost yiuban arm and leg.

Send me you shipping info in an email, like how you would type it up if you were ordering offline. Along with some of your interest. I'd like to order you something in thanks. It won't be much, just small items from China if possible. Well, its something lol.

The knife thing is bull, I believe. What is true is that the US Postal Service does not look kindly on packages that are dangerous to their postal workers, i.e. stabbing through the envelope and cutting them.

I get crap for sending knives in country, I have to make it plainly clear that the knife is in a sheath and well wrapped up.

This got claimed overnight, Ill send it out, enjoy! By the way, I was considering re-profiling the edge to a thinner grind to make it less chisel like....that or add serrations.
 
I just want to say how awesome this thread has been. I am amazed by the generosity of you all, and some people in particular. I have received so much, and am very thankful for that. I will not be claiming anything else on this thread, and I have nothing else to offer right now. If gung_ho doesn't send me his info soon, I will be putting my last Mora up for grabs. Just got back from the post office. Everyone thats expecting something from me should have it no later than tuesday.

I dont need pictures, i dont need you to express thanks or anything, please just enjoy the gift, I only ask that you let me know it arrives.

I shipped everything Via priority mail. So i have tracking if you need it. But please email or PM me with your zip code if you need a tracking number. I have 7 different ones here and dont feel like looking thru a 1000 PMs and emails to find which address matches up with which person, but tracking is here if you want it, just give me a zip code to match it up to!!
