You!!! I've been looking for you :)

I don't have that per se but could gladly send you some bits of inner tube too afix such a thing to your knife.

Yes I seen that mod but I hate the feel of that rubbery feel. I can't use a lot of phone cases or rubber gloves because they have a rubbery feel to them. Thank you though I really appreciate it.

When do you rub against your sheath?? Lol

Anyway, best of luck to you :)

I still have several large boxes of Zerust dividers available. I was thinking 3 bags of 24. If you're unfamiliar, Zerust is a metal protectant that gasses out over time. These littel guys supposedly offer 5 years if used in the Flambeau box that they came in but I assume any semi sealed box would get the same effect (tackle etc).
You could also toss some tools in a ziplock with some of these and keep them in the trunk. Stuff like that.
Here's a link that explains it http://www.flambeau.com/promotions/zerust_information_page.html

Also, I make sketchbooks and would like to offer one up here if there's an artist in need. Check out my page for info on those http://www.sketchbookcentral.com/sketchbooks.html

I remember wanting the crap out of that knife but having no real need for he magnifying lens.
It was a nice knife :)

Yeah it is a great sak and it was the one I carried every day but for some reason I decided to keep a sak Tinker and it isnt the same. Bad choice on my part but I thought it was a nice one to gift! :)

I use the mag glass all the time as I am always checking the dates on coins, mainly change but also for looking at jewelry to see gold stamps. I got bad eyes, I am blind in one and can't see out of the other! LOL Seriously though, my eyes are pretty bad so I cannot read coin dates or any fine print so I would also use it when tightening my glasses with the mini sak screwdriver! :)

I wear it around my neck. I have a cheap fixed blade now that I use my wife's hair tie to keep my fire steel on. I know it's a weird thing my wife makes fun of me but I just can't help it

Wow, that is a really unique story on the use of a Vic magnifying lens.

Only use I would have for one would be if its above 5x and could be used for firestarting. I did some googling and no one has ever successfuly done it, so I passed.

May I suggest then they you tape a steel to your knife for emergency use and get yourself a bag for woods use.

I'm glad you just said that I was planning on getting one for fire starting. That sucks I really wanted one for my bag as a all in one tool. I guess I will just have to check out another model.

One has to figure out ways to use the stuff he has! I was just unfortuneate to have went thru a eye surgery gone bad and since I was in the 5th grade when I had the surgery, I cant see much out of my right eye! This past eye exam I found out I have cateracts. It is hell getting older! LOL

There was a guy on another forum that said he was able to get a fire started with a mag glass but that is the only person I ever heard of with any luck! :)

Paracord, man. I got a pancake sheath for my ESEE6 w/ a firesteel holder and a separate small Bic holder, also a taco sheath for my Izula 2, from Godspeed tactical. All were pretty cheap separately.

Also, are you saying you need a good fixed blade?

In the next couple of days, I'm going to offer up two more sodbusters: Case and Bulldog.

End teaser.

Man, I've been really wanting a case sodbuster to try a big slip joint but can't really justify the money. I don't honestly need it though.

I probably won't be able to give anything fixed blade or otherwise for a minute. I will eventually have a few more things, however.

No worries...I really jumped in to give my spyderco...all good thing to those who wait, and although I haven't read every post I gather u have given quite a bit already
Kindly
Patrick

I could use a good fixed blade remy
Cheers
Patrick

By "good" do you mean you wouldn't want a used mora? Cause I wouldn't mind sending you one as long as you are in the lower 48. It has a patina and has seen use, but its sharp and definitely can be used.
