I have digicam. Might be tempted to trade you scales. Not knives though, my blade has been sharpened too often to even remotely look new. The scales are practically brand new. G10 is a wonderful thing.

Wow, I finally finished reading part 2 only to find part 3 already closed, and this new thread started!
Me thinks Jim has created a monster, but a good one.:thumbup:
I've only given 3 items and I really don't have anything else I'm willing to give at the moment. Not being selfish, just that my collection is small to begin with (7 knives;3 flashlights, minus 2 knives and 1 flashlight now) due to selling off everything last year for the medical bills I had incurred.
Now do not get me wrong, what I have pleases me to no end and I am happy with the size as I get to carry them more often now. I am also so very happy to be able to give without the expectation of receiving something for the act. I have not claimed anything and don't plan too because I have what I want and am happy and am satisfied. Plus, it moves so damn fast I can't keep up with it!!
And like others, lets not put rules in place that limit the ability to give. Even if some are not doing this in the spirit it is intended lets continue to give because ultimately it is the giver who gets the greatest joy and blessing. Also, all things work themselves out in the end.
There are so many great people here that it makes my heart hurt to see anyone take advantage of this, but it gives my heart much more joy to see people shrug that off and continue to put items up!

Cutter i think we can rekindle the fire here and carry on in the spirit Jim intended. You are right there are too many good people here, and this thread has given me a lot of hope.

I've always regretted not getting the blacked out version but I wanted people friendly. However I was checking out some sweet texture micarta and g10 Cuscadi scales. So expensive though!
I missed a lot of threads so this already may have been said. There is one thing that you givers may want to do, and I did it with the Hogue knife, and that is to ask the receiver, in an email, if they are 18 years old. One thing we do not want to do is send knives to folks who are underage and the parents of the receiver not know whats going on until knives begin showing up. Just a cya to me.
