PayPal has frozen our account

I'm a bit late coming to the conversation but I figured I would add that I have zero confidence in Zelle as an alternative solution. It works fine when it works but when a transaction goes south for whatever reason, there is little to no support and you might end up shafted. There are some reports that can be found in the Feedback section of the forum that definitely soured me on it. I won't use it.

I worked with Bill ( duramax duramax ) recently and I sent him a check. It worked out great. That said, I understand that logistically, MO or check options may not be prudent for a large scale operation like CPK.

Jo, I am glad to hear that you will have a system in place to get up and running shortly rather than the tedious method of "check's in the mail".

Does your merchant account allow for invoicing, secure storage of credit card details and your customers' base private information for shipping, etc or will you have to get onboard with an alternative method eventually for you larger scale sales (pre-orders).

Reason I use PayPal is because you can buy something and as long as it is paid off in 6 months there is no interest charged.

Any other platforms that offer this?

That is called "PayPal Credit" (not the PayPal Credit Card) which I have also used on many occasions so not to tie up my own cash upfront but of course use theirs which I either pay PPC off on equal monthly installment basis or as some do (dangerous game) make 5 monthly minimum payments and then make a balloon payment for the 6th installment to pay the total off. As you know, using PPC accrues interest (say for arguments sake ~ 29.9%) from the time the funds are sent to the merchant which will not be collected if the entire amount is paid in full within 6 months (or less then). Of course they try to get you by not being able to pay within the agreed 6 months but if one has both the discipline and the funds, then you can play using the OPM game ;)

I have seen more and more of these installment payments options (usually divided by 4, not 6) offered across many other payment clearance platforms which many merchants use other than using PayPal's various funding options. While I don't imagine that many on here use these little tricks when purchasing their knives from CPK (or others) you should also be aware that some of these payment gimmicks net the merchant / vendor a lesser percentage than using a good old fashioned credit card! If you wish to maximize some more juice out of your purchases while using a CC, perhaps look at those which offer 2-3% cash back on any single transaction, so long as you pay the full amount due at the end of the next billing cycle :)

I have just started trying to invoice my first sale. Looks like the tedious part will be adding customers and our inventory to the new system. It has a choice for importing customers and inventory, so maybe I need to start there.

Sorry guys (no pun) but I have another horrendous joke which I must share, just can't help myself:

If you don't want PayPal to freeze your account based on being a knife manufacturing outfit, then do what S!K did, ergo, just do not make (assemble) or deliver knives! There are always loopholes 🤣

BTW, does Elliott accept funds from a frozen PP account? Asking for Tanto 🤭

If the funds are delivered by Heidi Klum or a reasonable facsimile, I'm open to it...Tanto notwithstanding.

In PayPal, under Reports, you should be able to export a list of all activity as a CSV file in a certain timeframe. You should be able to upload that or use Excel and format it and export it back as a CSV or another format that the system will take.

I can check out the exact steps when I get home tonight.

*You may have to run a duplicate checker/remover since PayPal is Activity based and you may have multiple transactions for each person.
