Mixed PayPal policy changes on so called restricted items, anyone else get this?

Tattletale is for when you break the rules. When you are following the rules, it's called transparency.
“Rules” are CYA for corporations. It’s only a “rule” if it can be enforced. It is up to them to catch the rule-breakers, not for everyone to blindly follow. People don’t obey laws because they are afraid of breaking the rules… they do it to stay out of jail and avoid fines. No punishment? No rule.

I've never had a problem by just leaving the comment box empty.
When the comment box becomes intel for corporate algorithms, and ultimately subjective interpretation of infractions, it’s time to stop putting comments. If PayPal wants to make a description of the item mandatory, they can do that. Until then, comments will be optional.. meaning “don’t give them a reason” to the smart people.

This has been discussed numerous times and some of what you say is not true, misrepresented at best. Take that misinformation to the political forum.
Did not mean to get off track from the original post. I agree the political aspect should be in the political forum.
