According to a post in Prac Tac, and a guy in the Exchange. PayPal is now prohibiting knife purchases through it's site. Anyone got any more info on this? It sounds odd, considering the massive amounts of knife sales on Ebay. I know PayPal is anti-gun, but until Today, I hadn't heard of them cracking down on knife sales.

...Don't tell 'em yer payin' for a knife...

:)

That's fine for here, but when paying through Ebay, the item is listed in the subject. I remember someone posting that PayPal froze his account for selling a Busse AK-47, but it was because they thought it was a gun .

KNIVES
In general, you may use PayPal in the legal sale of knives, subject to the following exceptions:

* Switchblade Knives. You may not use PayPal in the sale of switchblade knives. A switchblade knife is defined as any knife that resembles a pocketknife with a blade that can be released automatically or by use of a trigger. Other names for switchblades include spring-blade knife, snap-blade knife, gravity knife, and butterfly knife.

* Disguised Knives. You may not use PayPal in the sale of knives disguised to look like a harmless item. This includes, but is not limited to: belt buckle knives, cane swords, shobi-zue, lipstick case knives, air gauge knives, and writing pen knives.

Paypal has a lot of (stupid) rules concerning knives.For instance:No automatics(switchblades),push daggers,trench knives(with knuckle gaurd)..that's all I can think of right now,but I'm sure there's more.
