4 trout from earlier this week smoked and eaten yesterday. 6 trout caught today, cleaned wrapped and put away for later. Life is good.

Whats your thoughts on Terrios kitchen piece WW. I know I was impressed with it when I saw it at the summer gathering. I even entertained purchasing it from JT. But, I know a guy that makes a few knives and well, you know the rest.

Make you one, they're super fun to grind  Be warned, they're kind of addictive.

I've seen more bigger skeeters in a weekend in WI than I have in 3 summers in TN. Why that is, I have no idea... but I'm not complaining.

On the other hand, I have now been introduced to the profound and lingering joy called "chiggers". I think the Warrior jinxed me :grumpy:

Hey JT, are you guys in a tornado warning in Knoxville? I'm in Johnson city and the sirens have been going off on campus

Man, I feel for ya. Mine don't itch anymore, but the marks are still there. Last time we went, I sprayed myself down several times. I'll never go there again without spraying.

originally, I was going to sell this one when it came back from Peter's...then I said F*ck it, I'm gonna keep it - as I don't have one made by me with a professional HT, except the Brute tribute and the one ground at Ethan's, which were treated by Tackett. Ok, I wanted one done by Peter's as I have sold 2 knives treated by them and I will keep using their services :D.

Homemade canvas micarta, Aldo's 1084. Might convex it later, undecided. Will do some 3D-ing to the handle, and a green kydex sheath will cover its nudity. Bobba Fett's helmet was carved on the right slab (what a PITA!) and filled up with epoxy mixed with glow-in-the-dark powder.

Not at the moment. I don't pay too much attention to that sort of thing anyway... evebn will all the fancy radar and whatnot, here in the foothills you just never really know how those systems are going to break up or come together. It might be sunny one minute and a monsoon the next... or they might scream about storms all day and it misses our place by miles.

Do they sell Benton's in stores?

I know at least one place here in Knoxville that carries it.

BTW, huge thanks to WW for the vids (and everyone else for pics) in the passaround thread. I appreciate that very much

Yeah I've noticed that, being from oklahoma I'm more than used to tornados but the reported baseball size hail was a little worrisome, so we took our car to a nearby parking garage and once we got there the rain stopped with no hail

Also what store is it? My have to stop there on our way home

Thats a fine lookin blade Zulu! What are the specs on it?

I believe I just scored an unused gso 4.1 for a pretty decent price one the exchange. I'm just waiting to hear back from the seller.

Eta: Scratch that. I guess someone got it right before me.

thanks, fellas. It has a 7.5" blade, 12.75" OAL, 3/16" stock 1084 from Aldo, back from Peter's @ 57-59 Rc.
