I have kept my mouth shut about this forum member long enough. It is because of people like me who do not report unsavory activity when it come to trades and sales that people like him are aloud to continue taking advantage of others. In my personal experience he had tried to trade me a knife he hadn't even have in his possessions and lied about the condition of it. Saying it was mint while the other person sending him the knife had told him about some scuffs on the pocket clip. I will let others that I know of that have had similiar experiences chime in as I will not speak for them. I have emails also pellel2.

OK I am aware this is here, I am not going to make this a soap opera about it. if someone wants to know about what Michael is talking about I can send them an email and they can decide. I made everyone aware in that specific trade the knife was in US and not with me but I understand some people get all pissy if you decide not to go thru a trade when you never said you would to begging with.

So what's the issue here?....lied about the condition of it? Sorry, I just don't get it.

I am sorry if this provoked any kind of misunderstanding. I never once asked for more you just sent me an email at lunch time offering more. Regarding the knife not being in my possession Dave agreed to help me as we have done great business together to ship the knife directly to a new owner if a trade happened instead to my contact in US. Technically the knife is in my possession ready to be shipped tomorrow. It does not matter where it is as long as it is mine in ownership and ready to be shipped NOW. At the end of the day I never ever once agreed on your offer. Not once ever I said I was indeed trading for your offer. If you somehow understood that I do not know how but it is a mistake. You kept offering things and I never once tried to pressure to give more. PLEASE read and review our previous emails and you will see what I am talking about. This is my last email in response to this matter.

No my offer is off the table, I don't appreciate that you first said the knife was LNIB and I had to find out by looking on BF to check your rating that you were not in possession of what you were trading and the knife was not LNIB but listed as with scuffs on the pocket clip. You then try to continually get more out of me for the trade and then when I offer you more instead of responding with an answer you post the knife up for trade without talking to me first. This is not how I do buisness. The only reason I continued with this trade is because I know Dave and trust him to give a fair listing of his knives. I have not contacted Dave about this but I hope your dealings with him have been and will be more legitimate than with me.

your knives are not 100% what I am looking and I would have to trade them in order to get what I am looking for. If you wish I will keep your offer over others but I want to give everyone a shot and hopefully get what I am looking after. I hope you understand that.

I just post the Direware as you saw. I will keep you posted. I am still debating about your trade offer. If the bodega was a compound grind I would certainly take your offer. Too bad you did not trade your bodega for that curtiss 4" because that is what I am really looking for!!!!!!

Instead of cash do you have a strider to throw in? I've been looking for striders but I always find myself buying something more interesting

My offer is LNIB field grade Bodega value $700 Mini glimpse 1 of a kind LNIB $350 at least + 200 equals $1250 vs LSCF Hyper90 with scuffed pocket clip value on Direwares dropping. I saw one sold on BF for $950 the other day without the scuff on pocket clip. Granted the one you are getting had LSCF so I think $1250 is more than fair.

Did you offer to solve your problems with Medford in a non soap opera manner. No instead of calling them on the phone and solving the issue you made a big deal out of nothing. Now I am calling you out for your poor trade activities and you want to do it behind closed doors and send people emails that I can't respond to. If you have something to say say it in the open.

actually there so everyone can see it. clearly at the beginning of the emails you know the pocket clip has some scuffs. you also knew Dave had the knife and he kindly offered me instead of shipping it to me he would ship it to the new owner in a trade. how did I do wrong exactly?? thanks

Yes you don't address misrepresenting the knifes condition and no the knife wasn't in your possession. You can't trade something you don't physically own. Your trade for this same knife was shut down on the "green forum" for violating these rules. I challange you to find one person who has a bad experience trading with me. I have already asked others to chime in about you that I know you have tried to take advantage of them.

This is more than likely a situation where, no matter how much back 'n forth happens and regardless of who chimes in to say what, both parties will continue to feel just as they do now. This raises the question (for me): what's the point?

You went Wong in that your not showing the original email and I only found out that you didn't have the knife when I talked to Dave and he told me he still had it not you. If I didn't know Dave I would have never known

OK the thread was not shut down I closed it. And the knife was ready to be shipped to the new owner??? how is that violating rules. Honestly Michael I do not why you still kicking the bucket about this you did not get the knife and you are just trying to blame things on me just to make me look bad about this particular transaction. I dont see how I did wrong you knew the condition of the knife how did I lie about it?? Honestly man please move on and thats it I did not try to take advantage of you you kept throwing offers at me. I moved on long time ago about this.

Actually I am going to be the bigger man here and I do apologize once more again if you felt that way but I posted the unedited emails. I cannot see how I lied about the whole thing when you knew how the knife was and where it was. I kept that thread updated and 100%. the thread was never shut down I closed it.

First you shut the thread down at the request of the moderators. How can you honestly trade a knife and represent its condition if you have never seen it. You hadn't had any past experience with Dave so you can't say you trust him. You never told me about the scuffs on the knife Dave told me, you told me it was like new. You operate in a very gray area.

how did I closed the thread at the request of the mods??? the mods never said anything to me about it. The mods dont "request" you they just close it for you. where is your proof of any MODS asking me to close the thread?? since you lied about that im pretty sure you have all your other facts wrong. I CLOSED the thread immediately once the knife shipped to me, I even went to that extent to be as clear as water and not have any misunderstanding. How come no one else in that thread felt like you?? how come you are just throwing random assumption of people asking me what to do or not to do ??? Honestly man seriously just give this up.

I think you are just putting a bad name for yourself right now. everytime something did not work in my BF transactions either my fault or the other party I dealt with it closed doors. regarding Greg I closed the thread immediately once we talked to each other and we accorded something needed to get fixed. I trust he will come forward with the solution we talked privately. once that happens I am more than happy to come back to feedback and report how everything went.

I'm not worried about my name . I have done easily a 100 trades on this forum, the green forum, and IG and I guarantee you won't find one unhappy person. I don't think you can say the same. I started this thread because you took a shot at my reputation at the end of the Medford thread and offered to send Pm's to people about me that I wouldn't be able to respond to. That is cowardly, if I have something to say about someone I will say it in the open, not behind your back.

hmmmmmmmmm I am pretty sure YOU started calling me a bad member in that previous thread................you REALLY REALLY REALLY need to get your facts straight man. At the beginning I did not even remember who you were I had to look at those emails to figure it out. Like I totally forgot about you!!

haha I did not take a shot at your reputation I was just answering to your post telling me you wished someone posted about me.....like how little short memory do you have?? I wish my wife had your memory man that would be fun!!!!

I did but instead of responding to me directly you closed the thread and offered to talk about me to people behind my back.

haha I closed the thread as common agreement between me and Greg.....why do you keep thinking I do things to piss you off???? haha wow

Ok, chiming in.

Let me get this straight, for quick reference, snyper1ad is (s) and pellel2 is (p).

(s) sent a proposed trade to him (p). (p) was obviously entertaining other offers. But nonetheless, the listing was on a separate forum, so when (p) decides to cross list it, (s) gets upset? (s) decides to chase it down and find out instead of it being in canada, its here in the states. And (p) has completely misrepresented the knife by not saying it has a scuffed pocket clip? (p) deciding he does not want to do business with (s), tells (s) the non existent deal is off.

One thing though. Given that the knife is in the states, wouldn't that appeal to you as it would not have to go through customs so it wouldn't take you a month or so to get it? Granted, I do agree that he should have had it in his hands. But if he paid for it and someone (I'm assuming a mutual contact) in a separate country is holding it for him, then it's a different story in my eyes.

When you offer to talk about someone behind their back I take that personally. To me that is dishonorable. I'm closing the thread as obviously we are not going to agree.
