Peltonen Ranger Knife M95 versus Terävä Jääkäripuukko 140?

I own 4 different Terava knives, and all have the rubber handle. I've used them for food prep, fire prep, and the Skramas for clearing brush, collecting kindling, etc. I've had no loosening, delamination or any other issue with the handles on any of them. I know a number of other people who own them as well that have never experienced any such issues. Not saying it couldn't happen, but I think it's being way overblown.

Thanks for your input 👍. Positive feedback.

I don't have any experience with the Peltonen, but I can at least mention that I have had a good experience with both my Terava skrama and puukko. They have performed and held up well over the last few years.

Good choice Sid. Looks like a real winner off the specs listed. 80CrV2 hardened to 63HRC sounds pretty awesome.

Love to hear an after action report of duties performed and any shortcomings.

Hultafors heavy duty?
I had to patina mine though. As it got rusty fairly easily.

Or the ok4 which is a bit nicer.

Or really nice. Same thing with a wood handle and a leather sheath.

I have the skrama 200 and that knife is quite tough. I batoned that through Australian hardwood which is no mean feat.

So I imagine the 140 is similar.
Absolute chad knife. Indestructable, simple, straightforward, ergonomic, affordable..
