People carrying pocket knives w/o clips: what's your secret?

I make up one of these for each of the slips & lockbacks I buy , and also for some of my other folders as well.

I no longer carry a slippy. I have been totally corrupted by folders with pocket clips
 
Here is my little secret. You can see jeans inside. There are few stitches and a knife is always vertical. On the picture Spyderco Sage is inside the pocket.
