perfect chopping board HI kitchen knives

Never knew that Ndog. That are an amazing insect. I guess they are having issues with some sort of bee disease or something like that. We needs da beez

I like my own that I made out of cherry and walnut. It holds up great, has no divets and also provide visually appealing contrast.

I bet thats beautiful! I had cut up a bunch of oak pieces to make one but never finished it. I realized i needed more tools than I have so it went to the project box. Love to see pics of yours Honeybadger!

All you really need is some good clamps. The only trick is getting it to stay flat as you glue it. It's more of a cutting board than a chopping block, but it still works for both. I gave it to my sister to take to college with her, so I'll have to make another one and then I'll post some pics. Hopefully it will be soon! But do not make a cutting board or chopping board out of oak! Although oak is a hardwood, it is still very porous, leaving room for bacteria to get into and grow.

I carved a board from Oak more than 25 years ago. I've been using it to cut meat and vegetables all that time. Perhaps all the bacteria I've been ingesting explains my unusual perspective on reality.

Looks like it's holding up pretty well for 25 years, probably good for another 25.

Cant wait to see what you get blue:thumbup: Somtimes i think it would be cool just to send Aunti some money and let her send me something just for that reason.

I think of that all the time. I generally don't like surprises as a general rule but some surprises are really nice and she's given me a few nice surprises too.

A triangle box just arrived! Hmm, it's quite long. Heavy too! Let's open it up...

HOLY MOLEY!!! Look at this thing! This is the nicest khukri I own so far.

Thank you so much Auntie! This was VERY generous of you :)

Not sure, the mark is a bull's head.

Edit: Looks like it's Purna. This guy knows his stuff!

Man, look at the horn hilt...

Purna Dui chirra is what id call it. Purna makes that top fuller like an AK style just to the shoulder and Purna is the Bull. Padams Dui Chirra has a top fuller that extends all the way to the cho. At least that is what ive noticed. Thamars mark is a fylfot.
Nice horn! Aunti made somebodies day again:thumbup:

Made my day? This made my whole spring!

I just noticed the pics Auntie posted of the board and knife. They look good together! I bet whatever she made was delicious

Looks yummy, And love the look of the board. Blue, that is definitely some of the heaviest patterned horn I have ever seen that is sure sweet looking. Congrats
