Perfect Pairings

Almost perfect pair, in my eyes.

That a gen 4?

Yeah, I paid a bit more for a few design improvements - you can get a Gen 3 for a great buy if you shop around. I tend to buy new, regardless of what it is. That being said, I prefer to buy old tools for the craftsmanship.

Ah but alas I can only marvel from afar until I turn 21 (nex year), how do you like the new grip checkering? also what all did they change from gen 3?

I like the grip checkering, but people (with dainty, wimpy hands) have complained it's too rough. The backstrap on the 4 is interchangeable and it has a double spring (supposedly less recoil). Both are great, though. Glocks just work every time, but they are not as classy as an all steel piece. Sig Sauer is another excellent choice. When you get your gun, post some pics. By the way, Some glocks have an optional 33 round magazine and a 50 round drum. Less reloading at the range...

Too rough? pfft please I use toilet paper coarser than that :D (poor college student and all)

Interchangeable=nice idea

Little internal tinkering cant hurt I haven't heard anything bad about the gen 4's to date so I assume whatever they did lives up to Glock standards

Every Glock I've ever shot has had absolutely no serrious malf's (put a total of about 200 rounds or so through different family members 19's and 17's and a lot of them buy some crappy loads)

I like the one Sig I shot

And trust me you guys will be relatively high on the list to hear about my first handgun (been patiently waiting for almost 20 years now :D) and I do hope I can still get those 33 rounder's by the time I get to buy a handgun... all this AWB stuff is a serious bummer for guys my age that haven't been able to buy firearms for the past 9 years or prior to '94. No money to get what we want and potentially no time to save up to buy it in the future. But I digress ill leave the debating in the political forum :rolleyes:

i had some pictures up a while ago, as "perfect pairings", a given long gun, a pistol, and a knife or such.

not sure where those went. they seem to have vanished. should fix that.

this should do:

Not the ultimate weapons platform but I think the AK and the Makarov make a great pair.

And I have posted these pictures before but the King of Beckers and the King of Glocks are a couple favorites of mine.

Don't have a handgun yet, looking hard at a G30 for me and a 26 for the wife.

Do love my Winchester 1300 though, Pairing to follow...
