"Perfect Traditional...(opinions)"

I honestly can't say why...

I wrote that originally because its a love hate thing with these 63032's. I like the steel, 3 blades and how the blades lay into a slim or narrow package. Crinks and the way the blades lay in are tops for me in a good stockman. Not crazy for stockmans that have extra liners or thicker liners, although I'm currently carrying a 6318. The hate part is the pen blade hitting the nail nick on the sheepsfoot. Yes, I sent it back to Case. I'll probably get one back with blade play, unless they repair this one, which I can tolerate more. Blade rub is to be expected as far as I'm concerned, just a by product of stuffing three blades into a compact package. I also think the Amber Bone is downright hideous. I guess the Chestnut would be the prefered choice, being limited to choices in CV.

That's you Duane! :D

Does anyone remember Vanguard and that Marbles EZO he always used to post? I don't think I could even look at that knife without thinking of him! :D :)
Yup :)
I have wondered about Vanguard from time to time, and totally agree about that Marbles that he loved so dearly.

That stainless EO 25 could replace my 1095 version as a favorite! Nice pic:thumbup:

Thanks :) Your 25EO is quite the looker as well, love the jigging and bodice shield

Two blade Jack Knives. My eye's start to twitch when I see them.

I put my jumping shoes on for two blade Jacks. Am I the only one who has jumping shoes for excitement?

A huge coincidence: someone revived a thread about finding your grail knife. I looked at it this morning and found a post by Vanguard showing his Marbles EO. I have to confess I find his photo persuasive! That knife looks fabulous to me.

My Marble's EO is the closest to perfection I will ever get.

Nice idea for a thread... While I have about a dozen GEC's, this one I simply can never bring myself leave behind:

While I love my 15's and 66's and these new 77's, today I think I'm going to weigh in for the GEC Toothpick, specifically this one, which was my first:

That one led to these:

I have many of the knives as the OP. Everything from GEC is completely stellar.

My favorite is the Tidioute #89 Wharnecliffe Melon Whittler.

Another fan here of them good ol, toothpick knives! Great pics.

My favorite GEC pattern, the #53 stockman, in maybe the finest stag I've ever seen on a production knife.

Thank you, Paul, and the same to you and yours.

Another thing to notice on the above 2007 stockman is the flush and domed pins. After the 2008 knives this became a lot more rare.

Jeff, that stag is gorgeous! I really like the lay of the blades closed in that pattern  One sweet stockman for sure.

Thanks, Duane, the lay of the blades is really sweet on this large frame. Even at 4-1/8" closed, it carries as well as a #73 at 3-3/4" because of the low-lying blades. And you even still get a mark side nick on the sheepfoot because of the slender muskrat clip.

I bought this Case Sowbelly from a forum member a few months ago and it has become my constant companion. I hadn't thought about a sowbelly much before that, but this knife really works for me. I lowered the kick on the sheepsfoot a bit and now it feels great in the hand. I really like the overall size of this one.

There are some nice slip joints here. I like that walnut Barlow with the caplifter...

Two favorites are these; a red jig bone Radio Jack and a snakewood Pemberton:

A recent favorite that sees a lot of carry is the Stag Jack:
