perks of working in a scrap yard

Hey Bruce, nice scores. I'm jealous about the job. I just found a scrap yard on Tue thats actually open on weekends. The crane operator asked if he could help me find anything and I asked if he ever found any anvils. He had just fished two out of the pile the day before and showed them to me. A real nice Trenton and another in great shape. Unfortunately, the boss wanted like 400.00 apiece for them:mad:
ON a positive note, I can now scrounge the scrap yard any Saturday. Used to be I could only get scrap when I had a dentist appt (other yard only open 9-5 Mon-Fri). Any way, congrats on the finds and happy scrounging!

Ed,We are open on Saturdays also...That is the best day to get cool stuff in as people are cleaning up around the house.....

good score on your find,to bad they wanted so much,That is why I have it made,we own the yard thus I get the pick,lolol...
