Persian style knives?

The Bedlam is a very capable and good looking knife , but yeah , you can definitely expect some vertical bladeplay
Still love mine , but it would have been much better with a solid lockup , which is pretty rare with AXIS locks this days

If you can find a Schrade Sharpfinger around, swoop on it.

I have had one for years, and I consider it the best shape ever for skinning small game.

My Bedlam has NO play, vertical or horizontal once the axis lock is engaged. When I deploy the knife via thumbstuds the lock engages every time. When I flick the blade out via the axis lock method, sometimes the axis lock does not fully engage and then the blade has play. If I wiggle the blade up and down the axis lock engages and then I have no play.

Is this your experience Hayabusa or do you have blade play no matter what?
