Aaron,

That one looks like an "Aftershock Bolo" or at least that's my guess.

Guess I'm late as always.

Not Green... Green Linen. :) Here's another pic. I tweaked the green in the software process, like the guy from Alaska Gun did, just not so much.

I talk fairly often with him. He uses a photo box and does nothing really, but resize and stamp the pics he takes. Tries to get them accurate as possible or something  We were discussing micrometers or whatever they're called and he said he needed to get one.

Here's a pic of my PD Variant. I believe it's supposed to be green linen as well, IIRC the conversation with Jerry years back. A bit on the darker side as well :)

Thanks... It's gotta beat up and the edge raised on it. It's a worker now. If you are bored, search Shaving 101 when I got bored. Skunk has some funny comments in it :D ;)

I remember guys coming up to me. It was great :D I remember Fogo's and you breaking out that piano key. I'm looking forward to seeing you again and was cool learning about your trips overseas.

Man... I miss blade show :( Should be there this year :D

Rick,

Thanks for the thread and pics.
Which is your current fav and how do you like that new Custom Shop SH you got from Roberto???????

I love the way that ZTSH feels in the hands. The micarta has some nice palm swells that make it much more comfortable than the regular Ergo handles. It also reinforces for me the wonders of (compared to most of the other choppers) ThINFI.

As far as favorites go, the Badger is currently my favorite belt knife for when I go hiking. But there are times when the slightly longer blade of the SJ is better suited to the task. I plan on using the new ZTSH as a pack knife.

You Got Rid Of An Eu-17!!! What's The Matter With You!!!

Heh. Yep, #35. If you look near the center of the pictures, you will see a rather harsh looking NOe. That used to be black coated, but I stripped it and gave it a working satin finish. That project convinced me that I didn't want any additional coated blades. I sold it to someone over on the east coast. That was also why I sold my OD last year. My incoming Ruck will be the only coated Busse I own, but they weren't coming any other way.

Rick

I started with small knives. I loved the detail and sharpness of a teel that small. I still carry a neck knife all the time and it gets more use than all my others put together. But, I have come to respect the large blade. Cant wait to use my FBMLE. Knives of 5 - 7 inches are perfect for my tastes. I am also waiting for a frosted jack and look forward to giving it some serious carry time
