Petit Jean State Park

Nice pics! Looks like a great hike for sure. I can't remember the last time I went hiking with a group of friends. Thanks for sharing.

Used to go to Buffalo River Park each year while in high school and have been to Petit Jean once as well. Beautiful country. I have great memories of those parks.

Glad I could bring back some memories for some of yall.

I always appreciate all you guy's pics of your hikes and what not.. I'm just returning the favor!

Exidor: Sorry to disappoint :) RC4 is usually my hike knife. Nice and light.

I'll have to look into Buffalo River Park. I'm not a native Arkansan so I'm not really sure where it is without looking at a map. Sounds great!

It's ok RC-4 with that amount of people just right! I have gone out in a group with what they thought were way to many knifes.there like what a freak, and quickly I'm like no no
I just brought enough for everyone here you can use this one or that one!

RAT PACK #91

One of my buddies saw my knife and said "Mine's bigger!". He had a buck 119 around his belt. I said "It's not about how big it is, it's how it performs in the field" Glad he had a 119 though. Theres a lot of crappier knives he coulda gone with.

Nice pictures - they make me a bit homesick, though. I grew up in Fayetteville, moved away a dozen years back, and miss the Ozarks. Perhaps one of these days I'll be able to move back....

Btw, Thought I'd mention.. I got a chance to try out my new Merrel Moab Mid XCRs (http://www.merrell.com/US/en-us/Pro...rs/Mens/Moab-Mid-GORE-TEX-XCR/Dark-Tan/J87311) on this trail and they were AWESOME most comfortable hiking boots I've ever worn. Heck I wear them on campus too. They absolutely stuck to rocks, loose shale, and wet rocks (under the waterfall). I've also had them submerged over the top of my foot and my feet never got wet. I highly recommend them. I got mine at Dicks. I've seen em at Cabelas and Bass Pro (I think) too.

I see your Texas Vs. The world T-shirt... Are you at Harding? I graduated from there in 2003

You know, after looking at these pics again, I noticed something.

In one of the shots where your RC-4 is in a tree stump with people in the background it is kinda like a GEICO commercial with the knife "watching the people". :)

Wow glad this got bumped up to the top, hadn't seen it previously - great pictures. Having a hard time deciding which is more beautiful, the waterfall or the RC-4 :D

Haha Pastor you're right!

Lock, I'm glad it got bumped too. It's been raining here for two stinkin weeks and I forgot how beautiful it can be.

Jason.. you found me! Seems you graduated 3 years before I got there. Btw, Texas won by a lot this year ;)
