Petition for an online induction of new Hogs!!!!

Mr. Boss man,

Some of us will never make it to a show, yet we contribute knowledge of Busse/Kin to the forums.

We drain our bank accounts out of fear that we will never be able to scoop up on a new release.

We post pics that show off the awesomeness of Busse family knives and some of us even beat them regularly and can testify to the truth of Busse being the toughest in the industry.

I for one went from only 3 Busse/Kin last January to 17 in hand/or on order this January, many other piglets are the same.

We piglets without our hog names humbly beg on our knees, we beseech you high upon your throne of Infi surrounded with empty scotch bottles to consider an Induction for the little piggies that have been fighting for our place at the trough.

Thanks for considering our plea.

I hate to be a party pooper, but damn firestrike the begging on your knees is too much lol
 
I've been to a couple shows and I'm still not a Hog technically. However, my wallet says that I am.....
 
Own just one kin, and got dinged for my very first Busse on Monday. Can I play, too? Come on, BGTG! Come to papa!

Edit: Looks like this may be a hard-earned thing for people who have been around here much longer than I have and own a bunch of blades. Apologies if I jumped the gun. I know not of what I speak.

Over on the scrapyard forum they have different titles based on how many posts you have in that forum, could be interesting
 
Count me in love my Busse collection but don't think I'll ever be able to make a show.
 
I have not been inducted, but I was fortunate enough to witness the induction ceremony at Blade last year, and it was pretty awesome. Honestly, I can see why they want you to attend a show to be inducted. I guess what I'm saying is that everybody should plan on attending Blade, it's an amazing vacation destination!
 
It means much more in person. Anyone can be inducted on line,
 
I plan on going for sure this year regardless,,, can't wait
I'm slowly prepping my liver but I doubt it would do any good!

I once bought 27 Busse's in one weekend! :D :D
:) Pretty sure that's how I got inducted, haha.
EDIT: 28 Busse's... I keep forgetting about that one SMOG Warden I caught in the cart too. :D
 
Nah, online induction would feel kinda off. I mean part of it is having something epic to look forward to. So I'll be a happy piglet, until then, more fun that way.

Lol. I've bought 44 Busse and kin over the last 18 months and I thought that was a lot. I'm a lightweight!
 
I was inducted online in '11 by Amy-0 and then in person at Blade '12 by Garth (sadly Jerry was unable to attend). Yes, the trip to Blade was well worth it to meet other hogs & piglets and have a great experience all the way around. Yet, despite that and having had near 200 Busse & kin through my hands over the past 6 years, in my opinion I still barely qualify as between a feeder or perhaps even a shoat boar, though somewhere above a weaner boar or pig. Still well below Hog and that is fine by me as long as no one mistakes me for a gilt, sow or barrow.

The stealth Hogs that seem to have inspired the name usually won't talk about the number they have or show them off & just keep busy stashing away at a shockingly impressive rate. When they do share pics, jaws drop when you see something like (approximately from one recollection) 18 silent knights & moabs in the same pic.

There seems to be two intersecting ideologies of Hogdom, one is simply based on the spirit of being a good man or woman that likes knives, shows respect, generosity, kindness & honesty. The other is based on greedy acquisition of vast piles of INFI, the two can and often do intersect. ;)

I would buy all of them, but then I remember this thing called a Wife and Kids I have to feed on occasion.....

They do not share the same love of bread and water soup as me.

If we're going to have another online induction, we'll need another special HOG edition knife, like the HOG ASH from 2007. How about a special edition HOG ASH-2 at an unbelievably low price?
