Sad - at least it was a $10 lesson and not a $100 one.
My son-in-law borrowed 10 bucks from me one time at a dart tournament, promising to pay me back.
He never did pay me back, and so, since I was the captain of the team he plays on, I made his nickname in the dart machines "tenbuck".
He still to this day is known as tenbuck by all of the dart players.

I just posted in a thread from a member concerned about doing trades here, and related the story of the one and only burn I've experienced here. Got reminded and thought I'd put this back up at the top because I see it's still active in the X, annnnnnnd I still haven't seen any form of payment.
