Yes thanks Joe. that's what I had read about croc. hunting that a lot of times they are shot and lost if not killed on the spot.
You have to wait till they are on the bank
If you do not anchor them and they get back to water unlike a hippo even if mortally wounded they will not float
Once they hit water they are gone
So yes you gotta turn them off like a switch

I dpshot that Croc in Zimbawe which used to be Rhodesia
This are was war torn and these crocks are very Leary
The indigenous people do not like them ..... They eat their kids and animals so you can bet that this old boy was shot at a time or two
From the time I saw this Croc it took me almost 4 days of crawling and positioning to kill him
Long hours laying in the sun and crawling around river banks to get the right angle
