I would say your green dye on the case came out awesome! In for and on behalf of @Gary W. Graley ...View attachment 2138387
Thank you! That green S&M is a real looker. Very nice.
I agree with you. There some pictures posted daily in the traditional threads that are amazing. One of the reasons I asked for pictures for participation in the giveaway.I've been doing photography for a long time, won some photo contests with landscape shots, but I have rarely seen photos as good as the knife photos on this board. Very creative compositions - very crisp photos.
Haha. It would definitely save me some postage! He could win his own competition![]()
Awesome knife and backstop. It has been great seeing the entries so far. There are some great pictures being submitted. Thanks for the generous GAW! And thanks for making it interesting with the photo submission requirement; I enjoy most the GAWs that require participants to actually participate, and making it a "popularity contest" is a nice twist (although I'm someone who never uses the Like button options on any social media)!
Best wishes to all who participate; I've thoroughly enjoyed the photos posted so far!
I usually don't enter the GAWs in which a GEC knife is the prize, but since I can enter on behalf of someone else, I'd like to enter for @joeradza .
Of course, he's a gifted photographer and my photos are at best mundane, so I'm really not increasing his chances of winning, but so it goes.
Many of you are familiar with my unremarkable shots, but I'm going to post a photo of my first knife, a Colonial Forest-Master I've had since about 1960, and it's the first knife photo I ever took, back in 2014. I hope you'll agree that my pics have improved in quality since I took this shot, holding the knife up in front of the camera lens above the screen of my iMac and hitting a key on the desktop computer to "trip the shutter" on the photo-taking app.
