Its towards the end of the month, I have been waitiing like a patient boy, lol, any updates? Also how was the trip, that is if you guys are back yet?

Hello, I appreciate the offer but I am not sure if I udnerstand what your asking? I had already submitted the pictures for the contest...
 
You must have the old page cached from clicking on it so many times wondering if you won anything. Clear your cache and reload the page.

WOW I just came back from field work and found out I was one of the lucky winners... I am absolutely humbled and thrilled. Thanks so much RAT. This isn't going to deter me from buying more of your great products though!

I believe it is, it will run all year for each quaetr as far as I know they have just not yet added new entries yet...I am sure its still opne but you will get a definate answer here soon...

I'm gonna post the photo rules again. We are doing our best to provide everyone an opportunity to win free knives and we simply ask that you read and follow the rules. If you don't then it creates more hassles for us (the guys trying to give you a free knife). We will not contact you if you do not follow the rules and simply put your submission in the trash box. Sorry guys but that's the way it has to be since we don't have time to track you down and ask you to follow the rules.

Rules:

Winners may not compete in another RC photo contest for 6 months.
*

Emailed photo samples must be sized as 600 pixels (widest side) x 72 DPI.
*

You must provide a full name and address with your submission.
*

Each contestant may enter up to 5 photos for each quarterly contest. If more than 5 or sent, only the first 5 will be entered into the contest.
*

Photos must be of RAT Cutlery knives. Ontario RAT knives not accepted.
*

Field photos and/or studio shots accepted.
*

Photographer must maintain a high-resolution photo on file (minimum 1800 pixels at the widest side) until the end of the contest.
*

Photographer agrees to provide RAT Cutlery a copy of the winning photo in high-resolution format.
*

RAT Cutlery has the right to publish or use the photos as they see fit, including using the photo in advertising, electronic and print media.
*

Photos will be judged by a panel of photographers on the last day of each quarter.
*

The winning photographer's name and photo will be posted on our web site and forums.
 
Any idea when 3rd quarter photos will be showing up on the site? Pretty sure I followed all the rules, just wasn't 100% sure on the size I submitted.
 
Are you thinking the second rule means 600 pixels by 72 pixels?

It would probably be clearer if it said "600 pixels (widest side) at a resolution of 72 DPI."
 
That is correct. 600 pixels on the widest side at 72 DPI resolution. I'll get around to posting the new entries up soon.

"72 DPI" was throwing me for a loop (not a computery, photo editing-ie type guy). I'll wait and see if mine get posted up on the Rat site and assume all is cool if they show up. If not, I'll figure it out.

Thanks to you guys at Rat Cutlery for the cool contest and opportunity to win some bad ass blades...LOVING my RC4.

BTW, I'm Paul...nice to meet you guys.
