(Photo Journey) Does Becker actually make a single knife that can DO IT ALL? Maybe

In a quest that began just a few short months ago, one that litters my front porch with brown boxes daily, the hunt for "one more Becker" has led me to a problem. If I needed to grab just one long gun, my BOB and one knife, which knife would I take? The BK9 initially was the answer. Who am I kidding? I can't dress a squirrel with that thing. It will certainly dismember anyone failing the victim selection process, but come on. It's just too big. Each model is fantastic for individual tasks, but my quest had led me to the search for the ULTIMATE survival knife. Cjr7 questioned whether or not one exists in the Becker line. He is yet to reveal to me his choice. Perhaps it's another brand. Not even a KA-BAR? Unthinkable. I didn't break down this many cardboard boxes from small orders of paracord, sheaths (don't go there), scales and patches just to abandon the line for lack of an all-in-one model. I think I found it. Can you guess which model it is? Is cjr7 willing to reveal his choice in the Becker line... or did he jump ship?

Can you guess what is in the box?

BK10

Prolly the best all-around knife in the Becker line-up

But I COULD so skin a squirrel with my 9

Ohhhh whats the scoop with that Shotty ? Me Likie !

Oh yeah the question... I think the 7 is a pretty phenomenal all rounder, I am guessing a 7 of a 77 is in that box.

15? No a 17? They look like the best all arounder to me.

I debate the premise of the question though. It's sacrilege to carry just one knife. JK! Can't wait to see what you have in mind.

It's a BK7. I put my hand on the screen, closed my eyes and felt it.

Plus the obvious answer is the BK7...or indeed a 77.

I'm guessing a Machax. I'm very impressed with mine!

I have to give a +1 to Thrill with the BK10 being the one. I just got one from Moose and I think it may be my favorite all around with the 17 and 14 coming in close when big chopping/batonning isn't an issue.

Unfortunately I wasn't that familiar with the 10 until this moment. How dare you attempt to inflict buyer remorse upon me during this already rainy and gloomy Saturday. The 10 was never in the differential.

Don't have any of the current Beckers, but I do have an original Blackjack Campanion (1095) that lives in my emergency car kit in case I need to dismantle a Buick or build a log cabin. It would certainly be all you need. But one of the new Becker 'tweeners' would seem practical for an all-around survival tool.
