(Photo Journey) Does Becker actually make a single knife that can DO IT ALL? Maybe

BK10

Prolly the best all-around knife in the Becker line-up

But I COULD so skin a squirrel with my 9

Really TB.... I skin squirrels with my hands.....I KNOW you do too..... You only need that small slit in the back....you could do that with a SAK or less....

Heh heh heh...

shhhhhhhh! don't tell ALL the hillbilly secrets! If people wanna skin out a tree-rat then let 'em...if nothing else it will build character LOL

If the OP didn't know of the Mighty BK10...then I also change my guess to a BK7/77. If he thinks a BK9 is too large it wouldn't make sense to buy a BK4 so that only kinda leaves the 7.

Or 5, if he's been drinking out of Clich's kool-aid glass LMAO

How does this alleged super-Becker do against the average walker? Its only a matter of time....

Either way, I call shennanigans on this whole "one knife" concept. If you only have time to grab ONE knife, I say:

A) You f***ed up.
B) Why doesn't each bag AND each vehicle already have a knife in it?
C) What about your EDC?
D) What about the CRKT Minimalist on your keyring?
E) What about the 2-3 Beckers on the counter your wife is always bitching about?
F) What the HELL?

Your knife is numero uno "C" (cutting tool) in the 5 Cs of Survivability. ONE?? Ixnay on that!!

S E V E N - (as in BK 7) or the "sevenster", "sevenorama", "sevenaroski", "the sevenoramakid", ... "the 7"

Best all arounder in the line up :D

JMHO

I thought C was big Can of beer.

Result in the am. Thanks for input. This would have been a good thread before the purchase.

My primary edged weapon in a SHTF situation would be a tomahawk anyway.

Maybe it's one of these in the box?

Can't believe no one else has brought this one up yet but what the one becker co-designed by the guy with the survival website that pushes the one-knife concept?

The bk12 - Perseverance

Dang, Tommy just pulled out the big guns! I haven't had a chance to handle/use a BK12...but from looking at the design I think it might give the 10 a good run for it's money. The BK12 does get ''forgotten'' a lot...that is another Becker that needs to be back in production!

That's creepy...TWO Becker/Ritter posts together! I hate both of ya! LOL j/k

When I was reading around here about it, I found a thread talking about the Rowen number stamps on a limited number and people trying to trade for their Beckerhead number. I just ordered it about a month ago and so I was a little surprised I ended up with #206. Is it possible they've sold less than 300 of these beautiful blades?

It gets forgotten a lot because it is about $50 more than the average Becker, and not made by Ka-Bar. Its a collab between Doug Ritter and EB, and manufactured by Rowen, who makes ESEE. It's a good knife....a damn good knife. I'm just not going to pay $130 for one. I can get two Kabar Beckers for that.

If we were going out of the Becker lineup I might have said JAB Potbelly, it seems like that's a good balance of brute power and slicyness, in a relatively compact package.
