I watched the first release of Star Wars , in a universe long ago and far , far away . In a theater , just off OSU (Columbus , Ohio ) campus .

I've neglected sharing pics of this one.

The wood here is a custom combination from Frog Blanks. It is not stabilized. I asked David to not oil it so I could instead hit it fresh with Howard Wax-It-All Food-Grade Wax; a non-toxic blend of beeswax, carnauba wax, and food-grade mineral oil. This stuff has been my go-to for wood handles. Just slather it on clean wood, let it sit overnight, wipe and quickly buff with a cloth in the morning. (Any excess just shines the blade!)

Thanks! That long? Wow, time flies. Old people used to tell me that time speeds up when I was young. Now I tell my kids. I think they believe me or care as much as I did back in the day.

Time is relative, perceptually. A year to a toddler is a quarter of its life so far, but less than 3% of mine. So I will subjectively perceive time relative to how much of it I’ve already experienced. That’s been my theory anyway.

That's part of it, but brains actually slow down with age and that's part of why time seems to accelerate as we age.

That little guy on the bottom is all kinds of funky. Looking at it for a while, I can see many uses for a blade that size/shape.
