Photon Showdown: 6V Green vs Turq

The Photon is brighter and about 1/2 the size. The infinity is just a bit brighter, and uses a single AA. I hate to say anything bad about any LED light, so I won't say anything at all.

You can look at my page and judge for yourself, I have shots off all the brighter LED lights and a shot of all the dimmer LED lights for comparison at the bottom of my page. The Pocketbright is in the dimmer light section.

I think I used to would have been swayed by the fact that the batteries in the infinity light are commonly found, but I just ordered a bunch of 2016's from www.cheapbatteries.com at a great price, so I can't see too much advantage for me personally to a dimmer light that is bigger, even if battery life is longer.

JMHO.

Does anybody carry and inifinty and a photon for dual coverage? Just wondering if anyone did and what their reasoning was...

How about a photon or an inifinity and a pocketbright...?

I do carry a white infinity, Surefire D2 and a white photon on my keys all the time when I am at work. I use the photon the most, If I have to work on something in the dark for more than a sec or 2 I take out the infinity, it is easier to hold in my teeth while I work. Also it will last a lot longer than the photon and the battery is easily replaceable.

When I am not at work I usually only carry the white Photon and somethines the D2, although now I am starting to carry a 2 AAA mini mag with the Brinkman nexstar lamp, way smaller than the D2 and darn bright.
